He's a product of his environment right now. Asked to do other things and he would. Miami are built around wing ball domination. He's had to adjust to find shots.

He did? Wow. LBJ might want off the Miami train soon if that roster ages too much.

Bosh always struggled in the post. He bulked up at one point in his last year in Toronto and then slimmed down because the weight compromised his game too much.

He's still elite, though.

Right. Not like this dude averaged 24-12 with the Raps or anything just 3 years ago. Bosh is a star.

He's averaging 13+5 in playoffs right now, he's declining fast.
This isn't 2010 anymore. He can't even rebound anymore, averaged 6 rpg in fricking' regular season.

And yet he continues to post 3.5+ RAPM numbers. It's almost like elite players adapt their games to their teams.

Anyone complaining about Lacob being a meddlesome owner should read the SI.com article on Robert Pera. Didn't realize some of the stuff he did, including this one:

The genesis of the Joerger-Pera problems, according to league sources, dates back to last September. Pera -- who fancies himself a pretty good player -- challenged Tony Allen to a game of one-on-one. Allen, on Twitter, accepted. Pera, a Silicon Valley billionaire who bought a small controlling interest in the Grizzlies in 2012, poured tens of thousands of dollars into producing the matchup. He invited the media and instructed the public relations staff to issue a press release promoting the event.

The problem? Allen had lost interest. Joerger, a first-year head coach, didn't like the idea of the game -- like many in the organization he found it goofy and unbecoming of a professional team, according to sources -- but it was Allen's indifference that caused it to be called off. Yet Pera directed his frustration at Joerger and, according to a source, directed upper management to fire him.

Durant is going to have to work on his high post game. He needs to watch a lot of tape of Dirk's championship run.

I was thinking the exact same thing watching last night's game. It'll open up their 3-way game so well.

Not so sure....I think KD will be fine playing off of Curry. Their games will compliment each other perfectly. and instead of such an iso heavy offense, they'll finally have a system to run with Kerr.

And then I woke up.

@WojYahooNBA: Here's something I've never seen worse in NBA than it is now: Unemployed coaches shamelessly in pursuit of jobs that are already filled.

@WojYahooNBA: Amazingly, it's almost always the coaches who most preach loyalty and character involved in this too.

lol I wonder who.......

In 1984, the Celtics and Lakers did battle in that year's NBA Finals. The Celtics were 62-20 during the regular season while the Lakers were 54-28. The NBA welcomed a new commissioner in David Stern, replacing Larry O'Brien on April 1, 1984. The Finals that season was also the last time the Finals used the 2-2-1-1-1 format before going to the 2-3-2 format in 1985.

In 2014, the Spurs and Heat will do battle in this year's NBA Finals. The Spurs were 62-20 during the regular season and the Heat were 54-28. The NBA welcomed a new commissioner in Adam Silver on February 1, replacing David Stern. This Finals will be, for the first time since 1984, using the 2-2-1-1-1 format.

Now compare the 1984 draft to this year's draft hype. Pretty neat.

Will Embiid be the Sam Bowie of the draft? And who will be the Mel Turpin (#6), Lancaster Gordon (#8), and Leon Wood (#10) of the draft?

There were obvious HOFers in that draft with Jordan, Olajuwan, Barkley, and Stockton, and a few other good players, but not a lot outside the top picks.
