Yeah, no.

Here's my Top 10 atm:
1. Michael Jordan
2. Wilt Chamberlain
3. Kareem Abdul-Jabbar
4. Magic Johnson
5. LeBron James
6. Larry Bird
7. Shaquille O'Neal
8. Bill Russell
9. Tim Duncan
10. Oscar Robertson

Your just proving my point more. A bunch of the guys you listed lower have had much better finals games which was your silly criteria.

his impact all round, but since he plays on the perimeter u dont need to collapse ur who team onto him, but force him to drive into ur bigs,

where as a big can make ur team collapse on them due to inside presence and closer to the ring higher %shot compared to someone camping on the perimeter

Either you got it twisted, or I worded it badly. What I meant was that this game is a testament to his status among the legends. Only a player of this caliber can dominate a Finals game like this. 5, 10, 15, the number isn't all that important. A Finals game obviously isn't the sole criteria, this isn't even LeBron's best Finals game in his career.

SA's mistake was not signing another wing to guard the forwards such as Durant or LeBron, when Leonard got into foul trouble. Leonard has been in foul trouble in both games, and LeBron has had the benefit of going against Diaw, Green, or even Manu for periods. What Lebron is doing is expected.

Not saying, Leonard can stop him but he can contain him to some degree. What's surprising is that Pop went away with what SA had success with in the past in terms of guarding LeBron.

Give credit to Ray, Lewis, and Bosh.

LeBron is the 2nd best player ever already. It's embarrassing that people seriously think guys like Bird, Magic, Kareem, etc (as great as they were) were more dominant than this guy. A 3-peat firmly entrenches him in the #2 spot of all-time.

Doesn't really matter who guards LeBron to be honest. No one can really stop him.

Last night's performance by Lebron was as good as any performance by any player in the NBA finals. Lebron completely dominated the game on both ends.

& this is why Lebron gets so much hate.

You don't counter that hate with ridiculous statements.

Being a top 5 player in terms of peak and being a top 5 player in terms of legacy are different criterias, and based on how good he is, he's easily top 5 of all-time.

The hate is misdirected. Hate the fan/poster for their ridiculous comment, not the player. Or better yet, just ignore it and chalk it up to someone's foolish opinion.

Wherever you rank him, LeBron is an all-time great. I just appreciate that I can watch him play. Don't really see the point of "hating" someone I'll never meet, but to each their own

Its all social media hate, people tend to say things on the Internet they wouldn't say in public or to Lebrons face, (obviously,) look at all the hate Lebron got over the cramps, then look at last night night. The same people who destroy him won't give him any credit when he plays great.

The worst thing he did was the decision, that's it. Jordan, having the same social media scrutiny would of been destroyed for his gambling and over all dickheadedness.

There's nothing ridiculous about it. Besides Jordan, there hasn't been a better player to ever play the game. It should become the popular opinion in about 3-4 years and will almost assuredly be a fact by the time he retires.

Nothing against the 60s, 70s or 80s greats, or even against Shaq, Kobe, Duncan, etc - but they were not as good as LeBron.

Because we're watching a guy who may become the GOAT? Certainly one of the greatest of all time, in his prime, dominating a finals.

Pretty good reason for the hype.
Comments to rationalize bad contracts -
1) It's less than the MLE
2) He can be traded later
3) It's only __% of the cap
4) The cap is going up
5) It's only __ years
6) He's a good mentor/locker room guy

What SA had with success in the past with guarding lebron was simply clogging the lane and not letting him into the paint and making him rely on his jumper. The thing is his jumper is much better than in 2007 and even better than last year argubaly.
