Looking for a Photo of Rodman reading newspaper on the bench

Post#1 » by BIG EDDIE » Tue Jun 17, 2014 12:14 pm

Im looking for a picture from Rodman when he was sitting on the Bulls bench reading a newspaper.

In this video you can see that scene at 2:36 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=icJLs4t0lLo&feature=kp

But I need a picture of this and in better quality.

Anyone knows where I can find it?

What a fckin legend.

Rodman made defence/rebounding as entertaining as you could possibly make it.

Could have Zero offensive plays run through him and still win a game off his own back

i don't know how well he'd do with today's rules. he'd have to tone it down a lot imo. a lot of the extra stuff he'd do could easily get him in foul trouble ejected today very often.

Rodman had an unbelievable motor to go with a knack of really taking guys out their game. He was a freak in more ways than one and could guard the perimeter and the post better than any player I've ever seen. Hard to imagine him lasting in today's game with his antics, but if he toned it down while keeping that edge, he would be an absolute nightmare for and player he guarded.

He, Scottie, and MJ were a truly formidable trio. On both ends of the court.

One of the trully special players that this game has given us, one of my favorite players ever, and someone told me once... "yeah, but if he wasn't crazy he would have been better!" and i said... "nah man, if he wasn't crazy he would'nt be nearly as good, he would'nt be Rodman."

I'm not kidding when I say this, but when he was on the Bulls, I was more pumped watching him grab rebounds than watching Jordan at times. I mean I'd already watched Jordan for years, so Rodman was new and exciting for the team. I remember watching this game live on TV:

When he was at his best, you didn't really notice him... You kind of looked at the box score later and were amazed he was so productive... He just pulled down rebounds and got the ball where it needed to be.

This was all prior to the daglo hair etc... I've always thought he did that because his game wasn't really that flashy... It's hard to stand out when you play with Pip and MJ.

I thought he did it because he was crazy with some serious substance abuse problems.

He's less crazy than Artest was. Rodman would manage.

Tired of people doubting old timers in today's game. They would adjust and still be great. Look at Reggie Miller and Tim Duncan. They played through 3 decades and were at least very good players in all of them.

He would give Lebron fits. He would give Dwight Howard fits. He would give CP3 fits. That is how good this guy was on defence and his ability to guard pretty much anyone. I'd love to see Lebron get shut down by the Worm in his prime.

why not? a lot of his effectiveness was a lot of the extra stuff he did to defend a player. if the rules prevent you from doing that how do you know he would be as effective? shaq went from bullying people down low to getting constantly in foul trouble for offensive fouls in a matter of 3 years. he might be able to adjust but its no guarantee. As for Miller and Duncan, I don't think any part of their game was ever impacted by any NBA rules changes.

no one is shutting down lebron in any era. people romanticize former greats too much. rodman was a great defender but i saw kemp, malone, barkley do serious work against him. yes, he made it tougher but let's not act like every great forward was scoring well below their numbers vs the bulls.
