Most likely Mexico.

Brazil/Mexico/Croatia. Depending on where teams finish in their groups.

That was a bad cross on that Aussie chance. Either put it head high, or at his feet, not in the middle.

The Dutch are gonna get trashed if they play like this against anyone else. We are not a good team.

I kind of hope Chile finishes first in this group so Netherlands plays against Brazil. I want to see who advances between mediocre defense and mediocre offense.

The Dutch are playing like a WC version of Hoffenheim. In rapid fire succession, total genius and jaw dropping incompetence alternate, with the blunders being just as entertaining as the successes.

Leckie would have probably scored had he headed the ball. Biggest momemtum shifting sequence of the tourney...that might ultimately put the Dutch through to the next round.

Not his fault, though. That cross was terrible.

That cross was *exactly* in that stupid height where it was too high for a shot and too low for a header. Not to mention it came at pretty high speed.

Dutchies grind out a 3-2. Aussies were brave but were too sloppy when it counted.

Somewhere, the Spanish are puking.

The Dutch beat Australia for the first time and now have six points.

Spain now needs to win, if they want a realistic chance at advancing.
Will be interesting to see if Chile can hold them down.

Memphis man of the match, with an assist and a goal. Well done.
