If Wiggins and Parker are gone before Philly picks, i honestly see them going with Vonleh. As it stands i have

1) Wiggins (or Parker Jazz trade up)
2) Parker
3) Vonleh
4) Exum

i can see this too. They are rebuilding their front court. Cant see them using #3 on Exum and #10 on a reach for a front court player

that trade is a possibility because that franchise can probably be the most patient of all the tankers.

Really trying hard to come around on this pick at #4. I've been a fan all year, just not with the #4.

Was trying to psych myself into this pick and started comparing his stats to Lamarcus Aldridge at Texas (who played 2 years there). Stats are comparable. You'll be surprised by how hard it is to find tape of Aldridge at Texas online, but there's a very brief scouting report on him in this draft video.

Vonleh actually has a pretty good handle for his size.

I just don't see what other people are seeing in vonleh. Nothing stands out about him what so ever aside from maybe his physical measurements. Not a great shooter or doesn't have offensive moves(Parker). Doesn't have much of a post game(randle). Isn't know for being a lock down defender(smart). Isn't an athletic freak(wiggins,Gordon). I know he is one of the youngest in the draft and can get better in all aspects of his game but im just not seeing it right now. I hope we pass and go in a different direction but who ever henny picks ill welcome them on the magic.

After O'Quinn emerged as our starting 4 and continued to produce I stopped seeing the fit for Vonleh. I definitely don't see star potential, though I love his physical tools, athletic ability, and perimeter game. He'll make a great starting 4, which is actually worth a #4 selection in most drafts, but considering a guy from the top 5 will still be available and all those 5 project to play an all star game or two, I don't see the value in taking Vonleh. You can even make an argument that Gordon, Saric or Randle belong in that discussion, giving you a pool of eight probable all stars. I just don't see it with Vonleh.

If we took Vonleh its not only going to give us the perfect fit at PF but we would also have a great backup Center that can allow us to play small ball with Harris at the 4 and Harkless at the 3.

Playing Vonleh in a the starting lineup as a stretch 4 gives us better spacing and to compensates for Harris and Oladipo's shooting problems.

That's how i feel as well, i think he could be a pretty good pick at #4 since BPA is imo debatable....he's officially my darkhorse, i just have a soft spot for players with almost psycho like work ethics dude is always in the gym.

Vonleh looks like he has a lot of LMA in him to me. I don't get why people are so down on him. He's got more fixable problems than Smart.

I love how this thread got buried to the 2nd page of our forum lol.

Interesting fact I learned though while watching this video: Noah Vonleh played PG for a season in high school.
