What if they took him to dinner as a good bye/out of respect, he told them he would love to come to the Bulls but I am p***** whipped and my kids really love living in New York. I just can't leave all that money on the table and uproot my family but I still love you guys.

You're gonna blame posters for taking Rose's word for it when he said "I don't recruit?" All right.

No, I'm talking about people trying to say that DRose is selfish and doesn't want the team to get better. Or that he had an ulterior motive. That stuff was always ridiculous.

Sure you can criticize him for saying he won't recruit, but the other stuff was over the top by some people.

I don't see an argument for how this was a "+" for Rose. It was huge for the Bulls, but Rose seemingly got pressured from Thibs and Noah.

Enough calling out of fans. Today's actions pretty much prove, that the franchise believed it was important for Rose to be part of this and that he wasn't doing the team any favors by not recruiting.

All of this should have been avoided in the first place.

Joakim Noah isn't interested in getting to 1st base. We're **** on the first night.

Seriously though, way too early to tell.

Still speculation mostly at this point, but seems like it went well. Noah, Gibson, and Rose were there, Thibs came was with him on the bus shuttle over, and lead the way in the pitch meeting.

Still think Melo is going back to NY, but I'm sure we gave him something to think about.

I'm sure the Bulls used the East being weak to also thwart the competition.

Supposedly good with Thibs being the force behind it. The guy was in the van to go pick up Melo from his hotel. They hadDerrick already there then now then Taj. No real report on it yet, but they did say our FO guys left pretty happy.

I'd say 5 years. I'd venture to say Jo slows down first.

Dammit Melo! Just cut the crap and tell the Bulls you're coming here. I wanna go back to having a normal, productive life.

I've literally been at my computer since 7 am. I have a headache, i'm tired but I can't stop.

Now you're getting back to the whole recruit vs not recruit.
