The Bulls should just tell Melo that if he takes the $$$ in NY, they'll sign FAs and build a tough opponent for him for the next 3-4 years. 8-)

With the latest word about Gasol and Melo wanting to come here there seems to be a common train of thought amongst players that the Bulls are the destination to go to for winning.

I am feeling more optimistic now...

Leave the East and go up against the likes of San Antonio, OKC, GSW, LAC, Portland, etc... just to get to the Finals? I have a hard time seeing that happening.

Honestly, that's probably what they did tell him. "You can go back to NY, but you're still going to have to face us, along with Miami and Indiana." The Bulls are going to be good without Carmelo. With him, and they are legit title contenders.

Yes Cuban. Bulls brass is meeting w/ Pau tomorrow in LA. Some rumors that he wants to join the Hollywood ass Bulls.
