Brian Windohorst on ESPN

- rockets selling Carmelo if he signs there would have their own/best in the NBA big 3

- Lot of people in the league think its a 2 horse race Bulls knicks BUT houston feels they have a shot and have a compelling case

- Gasol could be a back up option for Bulls but there is a circumstance that they can put together Gasol and Carmelo If Carmelo told the knicks hes gone can force a S&T and Bulls get MLE offer that to Gasol Not out the realm of possibility that Bulls can pull it off

- Doesnt know what lakers are trying to sell to Carmelo They do have Kobe whos coming off injury tradition and cap space but tradition and cap space dont win games IF Carmelo is going to move and want wins better option are Chicago and houston

- heat wanted to make a run at lowery but didnt know where they were going to be cause the Big 3 have not locked in their contracts yet james has gone dark Interesting thing last season lowery was close to being traded to knicks but they both backed out at last second and now here he is getting a big contract

I hope the Lakers offer Melo the max, cause then he'll definitely be leaning more towards Chicago.
I beg to differ

He's going to end up staying in NY and we'll land Gasol

I remember that Cuban was going to try and drill/pitch coaching to Melo.

That could be a big benefit to us if it really does resonate to Melo.

Houston has Mchale and obviously the Knicks have Fisher who has zero experience.

With the Heat's future uncertain with the Big 3 and them unable to land their targets, this should be enticing to Melo to come to the Bulls and own the East.

I cannot wait until this is over. Of course the holiday weekend also delays all decisions. Man this sucks.

#1 What are the odds that Boozer signs for the minimum in Miami once he's amnestied? And do we care?

#2 Everyone saying that Love is option B...have you watched him play much? I live in MN (born in Chicago) and am stuck watch Timber wolves games...I'm just saying if you hated Boozer for his defense.....giving up a ton for this guy would be a serious error. I'm perfectly happy with Gibson.

I know these are off topic, but I have seen these topics brought up in this thread...anyway...

Carmelo
Knicks 40%
Bulls 60%

...and big belly laughs to anyone who thinks Jose Calderon does ANYTHING to keep Melo in NY. If that guy is your starting point guard...well....I hope you didn't buy the NBA league pass.

Great post....im not a huge Love fan either. I rather keep our assets.

Me either

Do they think he'll just ignore Howard's last 2 very inconsistent and injury plagued years in the league?! Some nerve... :nonono:
