It's not like that this LeBron-Bosh thing will happen but just think about all those ring chasing veterans that will have interest in playing for us. Talking about guys like Ray Allen, Shawn Marion or Rashard Lewis.

Milwaukee getting ready for an offer sheet to Bledsoe. I have a feeling we may have to match a max.

One thing for a team to pitch it, another for the player to agree to sign it.

Look at the rest of the team:
Waiters was almost traded as he and Kyrie didn't get along

That was pure BS. Him and Kyrie are cool they've said it multiple times. Meanwhile Waiters averaged 20pts,4rebs,2ast at 46% the last 2 months...he's pretty underrated. That's not to bad for a potential 4th or 5th option who was only in his 2nd year. Who's PHX 3rd or 4th option? Gerald Green? Channing Frye? If you can retain him?

Tristan Thompson - really not great shake

He's a pretty good player. No need to bash him he pretty much is a Varejao clone. Does all the dirty work and hustle plays that don't show up on the score card.

Bennett - one year, horrible

To be honest he shouldn't have even played until after the All-Star break. He was recovering from a torn labrum and couldn't work out all summer. He was just cleared for physical activity 5 days before the season opener. He could be a bust but I'd honestly give him this year to prove himself.

Personally, I am not that impressed with Kyrie. I am going to say, BOTH Bledsoe and Dragic are better players! Yes, I said it!!

Just cause you said it doesn't make it fact. The fact is Kyrie is a former #1 pick, Rookie of the Year, All-Star MVP, and is just 22 years old and was just extended for 5 years. Dragic is 28 and in his prime. He's not gonna get much better.

Varejao - can't play 50 games a season

Well he played 65 last season lol. Eric Bledsoe I would think is more a concern with his recurring knee probs and with him being a bigger part of the team. He's averaged what 60 games a year? I'm sure Lebron can't wait to play with another SG with knee probs

Also why completely disregard Wiggins who was one of the most hyped prospects in the last couple years? Ya, he can totally bust but that's pretty unlikely I would say.

Cavs also have the assets to go acquire a Kevin Love or Aldridge or whoever. They have multiple draft picks plus lots of young players.

Then when you factor in staying in the East and being close to home it should swing into Cavs favor

if he goes to Cleveland - he won't win a title

 I hope you feel better...... You should be telling Lebron not us.

Ya I do lol...I was bored and have nothing to do until later tonight. It's a message board and I just thought I clear up some misconceptions. Yes, I'm a homer but so are you guys lol :P . I truly believe Lebron doesn't want to go to a third team in his career especially one in the west. It's either Miami or Cleveland in my opinion. Good luck on getting Bosh though! I always liked the Suns and Sonics growing up and I'd root for you guys in the west. I think he would be a good fit for you guys. Especially if Frye is gone.

Tucker's cap-hold is less than Warren's and Frye won't get much more than Len is making right now. You said "productive"...

Can't trade away all our youth and recent draft picks or we end up like the Nets. Warren has a solid offensive game and won ACC player of the year over Parker, not to mention back-to-back 40 point games to close out the season. Goodwin showed flashes at the end of the season and is extremely young and loaded with potential. Len had a weak rookie year, sure, but he was dealing with injuries and was drafted as a project. I'd expect him to make a decent leap his sophomore season. I see no reason those three can't be productive players this year.

This doesn't worry me at all. If the Bucks offer him max, he'll tell McDonough and he'll then say, "OK, don't sign it. Let us get through this James situation and then we'll give you the max without worrying about getting poison pilled".

If he doesn't believe he's being offered a max, then let Bled sign it and we'll match. But that'd be dumb.

While I doubt Houston would choose us over Milwaukee or Philly but assuming we miss out of Bron/Bosh, would you guys consider taking on Lin and getting an asset back from Houston?
We can probably later trade Lin for another asset or two (like a 2nd rounder)

Yeah, "pitching an offer sheet" is one thing. Any team can do that. I'd be more worried if Bledsoe actually signed one. I think he would only sign if it's max and only if he doesn't believe LeBron will come to PHX. Otherwise, I don't exactly see why he would agree with the Bucks.

Not every signing so far has been bad, but many of them have been, and the only bargain I've seen so far is Spencer Hawes. Good time to be a free agent I guess.

Let's say the Bucks offer Bledsoe a max and Bledsoe signs, I am one that thinks the Suns should match it BUT I wouldn't mind them not matching because it's the Milwaukee Bucks he would be going to.. Not a team that matters to us.

Like I said, when next season starts I really hope Bledsoe is with us no matter what the cost is.

Right now Bucks have around $13M of cap space so they can't offer him MAX max.

You think so? I thought he was a poor defender and that would make this deal appear to be an overpayment. This is probably the same deal Frye will get somewhere. I could see him in Charlotte along with Stephenson.

This only makes their pursuit of James and/or Bosh more difficult right. Surprised they'd sign him this quick unless they feared losing him.

Re Bosh: is anyone else worried that his statistical decline might reflect a real decline in his abilities? That is, maybe he's not that good a rebounder, not that potent an offensive player? Reports are that he could get max money if he leaves MIA, but I don't want to pony up that kind of cash for 16 and 7. Kieff can do better than that.

Then this could be fantastic. If they offer him 13mil and he accepts it, that's def a win for us.

Yeah, he really is a bad defender. But the stretch bigs are rare, and he's also a great passer for a C. I'd be interested to see if his DFG% #s from CLE weren't a fluke. I was genuinely expecting something closer to $7-8 mil for him.

If it's the only way to secure LeBron, we'd have to do it.
But those are good points in the event James goes elsewhere and Bosh becomes an option.
