Well, today he went on to say that Melo was supposed to be part of that group that would some day play together. When Lebron and Wade tried to convince him not to sign for anything more than 3 years back then, he went on to sign for 5yrs with the Nuggets. Up to this day he regrets that decision. So. basically Melo will be making sure he does not make the same mistake twice. He will wait to see how the Miami thing unfolds before he makes his move. If somehow Bosh ends up signing that Houston deal, expect Melo to join Lebron and Wade in Miami. If not, every other option will be on the table. When I think about it, it really makes perfect sense. What is the hold up now with Melo not being able to make a decision? The Knicks and the Lakers have offered him the Max, and the Bulls are ready to make it work financially if he commits.
While I buy Stephen A as a credible reporter and source, I'm not going to continue to prioritize his opinion because he broke one story. Is Bosh leaving Miami to go to Houston? Maybe, but given that Miami isn't using cap space to sign free agents anymore, they can afford to pay Bosh the money HOuston is offering.
