can someone please tell me why ESPN keeps asking "if melo wants to win where should he go?" and then they say the bulls like is some rhetorical question? and they never address the fact that rose has not played a full season in over TWO YEARS, they just conveniently leave that part out.... and i just heard that charles barkley looking jemele hill say the LAKERS would give melo a better chance at winning then the knicks? HUH?

Injuries are only relevant and lasting if the player wears a Knick uniform. Come on kane...you've been on the tour.

This longer this takes, the worse I'm feeling about this situation. It's becoming obvious that Melo wants to head down to Miami and everything is being held up by Bosh.

Lebron and Melo are waiting on Bosh to make his decision, if he goes to Houston both Melo and Lebron will be going to Miami.

We're really the only other team in play at this point..

I don't get this if Miami really wanted Melo over Bosh they could just not resign bosh and go from there

Wouldn't sign millsap to a max, was just giving options.

But that's the whole point. We know the options.

Someone post what Melo's max is with the raises. Then add all the salary together for next season. Let us know how much we can offer a Marc Gasol type, who is going to command a max contract. I can't remember the exact math, but I'm pretty sure we wouldn't be close.

Keep in mind, Melo is 30 and had shoulder injuries the last 2 seasons.

After that, you tell me if this team is going to win a title.

If that S&T I mentioned is available (with JR going too), I take it all day.

You do make a good point but maybe Miami doesn't have the balls to just tell Bosh to fk off, since he helped bring 2 titles, it would look bad for future superstars who may sign with Miami.

What he's saying is how would anyone in the Knicks front office (where carl's source supposedly is) know that Melo has eliminated Chicago, Houston, or Dallas? The only way Carl or anyone would know this is if it came from the Melo camp.

not saying I 100% believe him, however. Would it be out of the realm that Melo is staying in contact with Phil.

I'm sure he isn't keeping the knicks in the dark. Maybe Melo's camp has told Phil and the knicks that we are down to 2-3 teams. So that Phil can rule them out.

I'm sure Phil needs a decision soon and wants to be at least kept in the loop

And amazing how they talked about amare and his knees are cancerous but rose's knees issues are non existence. 50 games in 3 years come on ppl.

Is Boston without Rondo that much more appealing than a Knicks team who just tanked to get a top-10 prospect, to go along with the other picks, MCD, Mirotic, etc, and Calderon?

Can you just acknowledge NOT having a 2016 draft pick is a major impediment to a rebuild through the draft plan.

Anyone confident should be able to answer than question directly without trying to qualify it with hyperbole.
