Just pick a team, Lebron and Melo (they are going to get Max Contacts anyway) and let get this FA period rolling.

A huge part of me thinks all of this was decided months if not years ago and these guys are just sitting back and laughing as everyone is going nuts.

As an impartial observer who hates lebron, this is all pretty hilarious to me. The cavs fans getting their hopes up, and the heat fans are trying to play it cool by acting like any and all rumors of lebron to the cavs are "pathetic" and "hilarious."

I kind of hope lebron leaves the heat just to see the 7 stages from the heat fans.

Some of you Heats fans are becoming absolutely unbearable. I'm starting to hope he leaves because you're all acting like egotistical jerks. Give it a **** rest.

So why did he take a paycut for Miami years ago, but is asking his hometown and original team to make sure they have the most money possible ready for him? If he would take $15m like he did for Miami, Cleveland wouldn't have to use assets to move Jack or if they did they would have another $6 or $7m to spend.

* I wouldn't complain either way if I were a Cavs fan.. just seems odd to me. Money didn't matter then, now it does it seems.

While the Basketball analysts are talking about it and RealGM, the rest of the world is not nearly as caught up as they were last time lebron was about to make his decision. I'm glad it's not near that craziness this time so i dont know how much they can enjoy people take pot-shots at them, how Wade is done and should take the MLE, how Bosh has turned into a jumpshooter, how Lebron might be running to another team and won't stick it out. Entirely different storylines from 2010 when people were comparing them to MJ, Magic and Larry Bird. I doubt they are enjoying the critics too much this time.

I will say though, this seems like a very vocal minority. I have to think most people are hedging their bets.

Is it fair to say you won't be on RealGM if your man goes to Cleveland?

Heat should dump Wade and sign Lebron and anothe really good player and stop this nonsense. With 33 year old Wade on a 4/50 deal, Lebron is going to fail miserably.

I'm from Brazil
The person that Lebron has spoken is really Varejao, and Varejao is very happy then have great chances of Lebron in Cavs

It's hard to hate guys when they are sitting on the bench in a suit.

Jarret Allen isn’t winning you anything. Garland won’t show up in the playoffs. Mobley is a glorified dunk man. Mitchell has some experience but is a liability on defense. To me, the Cavs are a treadmill team.

My theories are:

1- He hates Dan Gilbert that much that he's cruelly toying with him, seeing if he can get him to dump off assets just for a chance of coming back.

or

2- He's seen Wade's quick decline first hand and he's nervous about his own longevity and he doesn't want to leave any more money on the table.

or

3- He's still upset at Arison dropping his buddy Mike Miller to save some money and he wants to be sure whatever team he goes to is not going to cheap out.

Embiid calls himself the Lion King on twitter so in light of the tweets he has been sending Lebron's way these days I like this comparison a lot.
