Well, those hookers for the hotel bedrooms need to be paid, so he'll make some extra cash during his time off.

Shhhhh, gotta keep that on the dl. The last thing we want is Bayern coming after Ozil.

Thiago, Mandzukic and Rafinha for Ozil, how about that?

Why would Bayern do that?

I was just kidding, man.

Miroslav Klose breaks Ronaldo's record to become the top scorer in World Cup history

Miroslav Klose has beaten Ronaldo's record to become the top scorer in World Cup history.

The German forward scored his side's second goal in their staggering 7-1 victory in the semi-final against Brazil to become the record holder outright with 16.

'We are a team and it shows on the field,' he said.

'It's also important that our set pieces bring results. You saw it again today. Toni puts the ball where it has to go every time and that's a big strength.'

After scoring against Brazil, in his 23rd career World Cup game, Klose refrained from doing his trademark back flip.

'I got hit in my left foot while attempting a shot and I was not able to do the flip.'

Germany coach Joachim Loew praised the veteran and only true striker on the team.

'It really means a lot to all of us. This is a record. This is a record that could be beaten only by (Thomas) Mueller.

'We believe that he really deserves it. Because at his age, he is still playing at the highest possible level.'

It was his second of the tournament after he came off the bench against Ghana to net in the group stage, which put him level with the Brazil legend.

Tomorrow at 9AM, the team arrives @ Berlin-Tegel airport, then transfers to the Brandenburger Tor for the official victory parade. I expect 1M slightly hysterical fans.

Man, I'd love to be there tomorrow.

With grandparents who live in kopenik you have no clue how long our family have been waiting for that damn airport to be done so we don't have to drive all of the way across town once we land. Luckily my uncle and cousins live in the city proper so when I'm staying with any of them I just have to go into town, but jesus man. I will be telling my grandkids about how glorious it'll be when that thing is finally completed and we can land close to the old family house.

A special shoutout to the boys (2009 U21 EC champs) who became men. See cute versions of Neuer, Boateng, Höwedes, Hummels, Khedira and Özil before they went HAM.

Ede lol. He is rotting in our stands for years and even if we loan him out to 2nd league he cant get into the starting XI.
