He WAS worth it, at some point. I think we can mostly agree to that. If not worth it, SOMEWHAT worth it. But you think he's broken beyond repair now? Never to see the light of day again? I'm unsure, it could go either way. I think the only way to get him back is to have a vet though, which we won't have with Goran and Frye gone. Hmm..[/quote]

I think he is going to continue to struggle in todays NBA, he would have fit in the Knicks, Pistons, slow the game down and wrestle era but not todays and he really doesnt fit the style of play the Suns want to run. Indiana is about a perfect team for him and they had to bench him in the playoff he struggled so much.

Ya bro. SSOL doesn't work in the playoffs because it suddenly stopped working when we got to the Western Conference Finals two years in a row, and to what was basically the NBA Finals the year after that before getting screwed by Tony Parker's stupid **** face, Tim Donaghy, and Robert Horry.

Ya bro. Running and gunning doesn't work bro.

Get the **** outta here.

Right so how many rings has that produced us?

Right 0.

So do me a favor and take your loud mouth cursing I'm a badass junk out of here.

I get it. You're angry at the world. You're always pissed off and cussing.

What has always been our flaw? Rebounding post D finishing games.

Why? That's the flaw of SSOL running and gunning and having bigs who we want hanging around the 3 point line. NO offensive boards for 2nd chance possessions.

It's common math in playoffs when you're shooting jumpers and contested shots you probably want 2nd and 3rd chance opportunities which require your big men to be rebounding not hanging at the foul line 3 point line.

We lost to the Spurs in 2007 due to external factors but our teams always lacked the necessary championship build to win it all.

You can't argue that.

Look at every champion and tell me their stars didn't play defense when it really mattered.

They didn't have a big man who could score the ball down low and defend.

Our teams never had that.

History repeats itself.

So chill on the I'm the badass of the forums Burningheart.

You may need a chill pill or some medicine for heart burn acid reflux.

We all want championships here equally as bad we're all equally as big suns fans here.

No need to get out of hand and demean, curse out everyone.

You live in California?

Go to the beach and do some meditation and enjoy life lol

Back to basketball

If we want to have mobile bigs, make a run at Gasol as he fits what we want to do, let pistons pay for monroe and we see how Len develops.

Go after the big men in FA next year and reassess after that.

Or make one last push at Bosh but I doubt he leaves

Right now, my only moves would be to match Bledsoe and trade for Ryan Anderson.

Re: Tucker, I`d resign him for Jared Dudley type of money (around 4 mil per). Pass on more than that.

Monroe and Stephenson are interested players but I don`t want to overpay for them.

Besides LeBron, this could be the most significant contract signed this offseason.

That's a steal for Monroe.

how about us offering him 4/56 or something? Would be halfway between Gortat money and the max, since that's what people are so hung up on. I think if we offered this to him he would at least think about it. I mean, come on...Detroit!

You would pay 15 mil per year until 2016. for rights to try to repair Roy Hibbert?

I wonder if we could get Stephenson for a 2 year deal @ 10mil per with the second year being a mutual option. He's still young and I'd like to see how he could grow.
This also gives him incentive to play well and be a good boy.

Stephenson is really interesting to me. Minus some stupid behavior, he fits McD's scheme perfectly. Assuming he can guard the 3 night in and night out, our back court would be bar none. I couldn't think of one, from 1 to 3, that is better. Add Monroe, which I think he can be had with a S&T to pry him from DET, that's a young, athletic, hard nosed team!

Bled/Ennis
Goran/Goodwin
Stephenson/Warren
Monroe
Plum/Len

Steph and Monroe at about 10 per. That's about the best we can do since missing out on LBJ.

Plus that is assuming we get rid of the Morris twins and Tuck.

Why Ryan Anderson? Thats like having another Channing Frye all over again. I get the spreading the floor etc but we have enough players that can hit the 3.

At this point we need a Legit PF

I cannot believe what some of you guys are resorting to. Hibbert? Stephenson? These guys SUCKKKKKKKKKKKKK. Hibbert was so pathetic during the playoffs, there were games he did not even collect any stats. Stephenson is a wife beating head case that is liable to have a breakdown at any time. The Suns are so loaded with young talent and they do not need those losers. It almost like some fans here are so desperate for moves that they would take anyone at this point regardless of who it is.

Why would he agree to that lol?

Is Anderson available or do you guys just want him because of the perfect match? Don't see Pelicans trading him with Brow and Asik and then subbing Anderson in for Asik for that stretch 4.

What a lame ass off-season for the Suns. And if we don't sign anyone, we wont have any money next year if we max Bledsoe and max Dragic and pay Markieff. We better hope these rookies pan out :(

That's so awesome:

@SportsWhispers: Carmelo Anthony is expected to announce tomorrow that he's staying with the #Knicks (NY Daily News)

And if we don't sign anyone now, there might not be anybody interesting to even try for next year, with Love, Rondo and LMA basically being the only prospects.

I think the reasoning behind Anderson is that he's pretty much expendable now with the Asik trade. He's making way too much money to be coming off the bench, and this is where we can come in. Anyway, I think we should try for either him or Monroe.

I'm all for retaining Tucker. Great bang for the buck, great leadership, can move to bench role as TJ emerges. Checks all my boxes. Keep him.

I'd go as high as 6 mil per.

I agree. Try and make a deal for Anderson as long as he passes our physical. That's probably the best option out there. If not him, then MAYBE Ilyasova.

Slash bros won't have room to operate if you have a bunch of bigs clogging the lane. They'll be forced to settle for long jumpers.

But Anderson may not be expendable just because of Asik. You can still play Asik and Anderson each 30 minutes and Davis 36 in the frontcourt, depending on matchup.

I'd take Ilyasova for free if they want to clear his contract. I just don't know if I'd be willing to give up anything of value. That's the problem with having a roster full of pieces you like!
