Guys, gut check time.
You don't want Hayward at that price. I Promise.
Stop trying to trade our All-NBA 3rd team guard for Lance Stephenson and/or Roy Hibbert. We can sign Stephenson outright. We have like $30m in cap space. Hibbert is broken mentally, not physically. Nothing our trainers can do for him.
Deng? No.
Monroe - I guess, but why? Just to make a move? Feels like.
I think the last thing you want to do is lock yourself into a 4-year deal with anyone. If you're so hard after a SF, go pay Pierce $20m over two years. That's not a contract you'll regret, and there is still some sexiness to it.
Also, Ryan Anderson is a better shooter/rebounder than Frye and on a two year deal as well. S&T Tucker there. Also not a contract you'll regret, and he's an awesome dude to boot.
PG - Bledsoe / Ennis
SG - Dragic / Green / Goodwin
SF - Pierce / Warren / Morris
PF - Anderson / Morris
C - Plumlee / Len
Let your young guys develop - wait until next offseason. That's a very competitive team - McD is familiar with Pierce, right? It wouldn't surprise me to see Len nab the starting spot this year. You have three draft picks next year and every ability to make an in-season trade to push you over the hump.
