Its that simple....

Lebron is staying in the eastern conference because as already stated many many times, what ever team he is on in the eastern conference becomes a finals contender.

I think the glaring weakness of his eastern conference competition throughout his career ought to stain his legacy. Rarely has he had to battle against real competition before the finals.

Bottom line: There are no home runs available now. Any deal that isn't very short term is risky and ties us up, possibly preventing us from making a huge play next year. Now, I was half joking when I posted this last, but I don't know that it wouldn't be possible. Make the push of a lifetime to get Love and Marc Gasol out of free agency one year from now. Tell me this isn't the favorite in the West in 2015-16:

PG Dragic / Ennis
SG Bledsoe / Green / Archie
SF PJ / TJ / Mook
PF Love / Keef
C M. Gasol / Len

Depends if Houston gets Bosh. Plus TJ, Len and Ennis improving. Could be interesting.
SHAZAM!

Suns traded Mikal Bridges, Cam Johnson, Jae Crowder and 4 1st round picks and a swap so some Vegas Bookies would like us.

I agree, but he got his 2 rings and I won't take that from him, even if he took an easier route. The West team that gets to the finals has to go through a gauntlet of good times. As much as I can't stand the Spurs, I respect them.

I still would like to know how they acquire Love after they burn their space signing Lebron.

Food for thought: if Cleveland gets Love, and LMA re-signs in Portland (as per his intent), the door on our being able to acquire a top-10 PF in the next two years basically slams shut.

I'm skeptical about that story personally. If true, that would be attempted murder. Why weren't police charges filed or a multimillion dollar lawsuit for that matter? That story reeks of Birdman/Kobe style slander IMO.

once again, i have no reason to believe that it's true, i've never heard about that before.

but your reasoning is not that good-- these types of things have happened a lot without police interference. there was a lawsuit in colorado a cpl years ago that went to the supreme court, where a victim (or the victim-decedent's family, i think) sued the local police for not enforcing a protective order. stuff like this was going on exactly. it's not uncommon. there is a whole movement to encourage the enforcement of domestic violence laws

Pretty sure that CO couple you are talking about didn't include a multimillionaire and there are a lot of people in the US who are always looking for a reason to sue someone with money. Anyways, Ei incumbit probatio qui dicit, non qui negat (the burden of proof is on he who declares, not on he who denies). Lance is innocent until proven guilty in a court of law by a jury of his peers. This reflexive torch and pitchfork mob reaction to some baseless story on the internet is detrimental to everyone involved. Case in point: http://www.thestar.com/sports/basketbal ... entre.html
if this was lances only incident it would be one thing but he had attitude problem in college in Cincinnati and has had immaturity incidents in the pros. I think there's a lot we don't know with Lance that front office folks do. Why else would a player of his age and ability not be getting a max deal. Teams are legitimately afraid to give him a big contract.

I'd still sign Stephenson.

I like to root for players that are great and, at least, respects the adversary and the game. To Stephenson, Beasley, Larry Sanders, Cousins, Artest...and some others....I say NO. Period.

Greg Monroe is arguably a top 10 PF.

I have looked on this board for the last week like I was a crack head looking for drugs. Expecting a huge announcement.....and there was nothing.

So disappointing. But thanks everyone for the entertainment during these crazy times.

@WojYahooNBA: Chandler Parsons is finalizing a three-year, $46 million offer sheet with Dallas, league source tells Yahoo Sports.

What the f$@&!&@&&$$@!""/&:$)&// @&$ are the suns doing. Sitting on their a$$ watching espn, watching all the signings?

The FO promised moves this offseason and they boasted all these assets and cap space. And we get NOTHING.

I'm going to break my iphone once I see the suns resign tucker than boast about it! Don't know how to type how angry I am right now.

Right when I was sorta forgiving sarver for being a cheap a$$. He goes and screws up.

Would you rather pay Chandler Parsons $15m a year?
