If we asked for Capela and Philly didn't, I'll be fine with it, that we stood tall.

It was always obvious that the Lin thing wouldn't work out for us, with Philly being in the same boat. Morey is going to hook up his boy Hinkie over us, unless we took substantially less. Anything in the same ballpark, and it would be with Philly.

Probably 10-16. Jrue Holiday will be back and AD is an absolute monster but the West is too good.

So just to understand this right, if Hammond made a deal we all liked that would have been because of the new owners, but if he stands still and doesn't do any of these imaginary deals that are floating around right now it's still on him, correct?

Nope. He'd get credit or blame.

Pretty much. Hammond can't really win either way with some of the people here. He'll get trashed for the deals he does make and deals he doesn't. Can't please everybody, especially sports fans.

I would have given Hammond credit, just have very little faith in him entering year seven.

Yeah Hammond just isn't any good at any trading or signings beyond mediocre. And nothing creative ever. Salary absorbtion trades to me are creative and thus will never happen for us under Hammonds watch.

I think he deserves a lot of credit for his drafting. We have a lot of young role players now and he was responsible.

Thank god.

I really wasn't feeling Vasquez at all, honestly would rather have Sessions back over him so that's great news.

Yeah don't mind missing out on Vasquez. Wish we had gotten Lin though.

Time to update thread title.

Silence on Bledsoe still gives me a sliver of hope.

I do know via twitter Bledsoe is running his bball camp in Alabama right now.

I wasn't enamored with Vasquez either, so not devastated by that. Besides Bledsoe, what else is really out there? I wouldn't be shocked if Sessions is back on a modest 2Y deal. I wonder if we make a play for Teague again - Mayo for Teague? Atlanta sheds 8M long term and opens up the starting role for Schroder. We get a true PG locked down for 3 years. I don't know if Atlanta wants anything to do with Mayo though.
