That is a huge sign, that's the suns have no intention of improving this year. That would be the only reason they would overpay him in the first year.

Well late lottery pick here we come again. This is getting old.

Your constant naysaying whine is what's getting old. Why b!tch about signing Tucker. It does not prevent us from signing anyone else does it ? You are so certain with your doom and gloom viewpoint that you can't even acknowledge that may be, just may be Hornacek and McDo's BB vision and judgement may be superior to your vast 30 yrs of watching basketball? Fn fair weather fans around here expect way too much.... And Christ, the off season is really just weeks old.

I guess you think we are done too? That we absolutely won't make any trades soon or during the season ? That none of Len, Goodwin, Plumlee, MoBros, Green, Bled, or Dragic will improve individually and collectively. There is. Strong team concept here where 10 guys need to be ready to play every night. Truth is we have no idea what is going on in the war room right now, but I'll bet tens to turds there is more to come.

I wonder if there is a way to change your name to steamydeuce on my site.... It would be more fitting to the perpetual poop you sling.

To sum up your post.... Blah blah blah blah...blah blah

Idc about size I care about production bottom line he produces guys. Makes bledsoe a sign and trade expendable to a team like the timberwolves. Or just gives us another EXPLOSIVE player. The key is acquiring under valued assets. His scoring ability on a **** team was on par with guys who got paid the MAX or are ruled ELITE

Whoever posted this http://fivethirtyeight.com/features/leb ... cleveland/

Yes, it was an interesting read. Thanks for posting it. I had opened it up in my browser a while back and just got to reading it. It's pretty crazy when you think about it that he seemingly has so many better options than what he seems to be down to.

This. He gets the job done and commands a lot from his teammates as a hard worker. I honestly believe we are a tougher team because of him. He's sloppy at times, but he's very scrappy and I like knowing he's back.

JTrain wrote:If we plan to make a play for a star next season then Tucker makes a lot of sense. He'll definitely add wins this year. Either way it's not that much money. The league average is $5M so 5.5M for a starter is on the very very low end.

Does anyone think we have a chance to get Marc Gasol next year? He would solve a lot of our issues immediately. Then we can pick up a PF like Manimal, Brolo, Horford, Millsap and be set for a serious run.

No, I don't think we have a chance to get Gasol. Memphis will never let him go or trade him unless they just go into the crapper and decide to rebuild. If he had been healthy all year, they would have competed for a top seed.

Rarely to top tier players like this get away so we can't expect to EVER get these types of guys...but the GREAT thing about our coaching staff now is that I think we can develop our own guys into great players just like Memphis did with Gasol.

Honestly, how many other teams in the nba do you think turn Green and Plumlee into what we did this year? Few to none. I honestly wholeheartedly believe that we will develop the players we get into the best possible players they can be. I mean, the entire world (and many of us) thought that our team on paper was one of the worst in the league, and when healthy, we proved to be one of the best. I think our coaching staff is top notch and I have a feeling that with all these picks, some of these guys are going to end up being really impressive players....perhaps stars eventually.

That's much more refreshing post from you. Why not have some faith in what is going on here? Do you have trust issues with our FO ? With our coaching staff ? How can McDo be a genius one year and a dolt the next?

I am sure we will just wait for the next squat and drop load you will unleash with the next non move he makes

I still think we need a top 15 type star to compete for championships. I don't see any of our young guys becoming quite that good.

Hope we don't overpay, that's all I'm hoping for. Gut feel: he agrees to an offer sheet with us in a few hours.

I think they are going to overpay on a 3 year. I get the sense, that the suns want to fill up then cap space. Cap filler so to speak.

2 PG system was good, so 3 PG system must be better!
