I'm interested in how Sanders responds this year with Kidd at the helm.

I've been hearing nothing but happiness and excitement that the Bucks players are with Kidd.
God is good.

Not advocating Sanders for Hibbert at all....

But... even if we're running an up tempo system, not every guy has to be able to fly up and down the court. The Showtime Lakers trotted out a 40 year old Kareem as their center. The key is to find the guy that best prevents you from taking the ball out of the opponent's hoop each trip down court, so you can actually ignite the break. Hibbert, for all his offensive faults, is pretty damn good defensively. To be sure, a healthy and motivated Larry Sanders is as well, but perhaps the Bucks have an inkling that ship has sailed. Then again, it could just be Gery trolling.

I just looked at our pay roll again.

Let this sink in.

We're paying Zaza Pachulia, OJ Mayo, and Carlos Delfino 15.5 million dollars next year. A max contract on those 3 nothings.

John Hammond still has a job as an NBA GM. With the team that he did this to, no less.

Only in America.

I just would like to see him post here even if it's not an insider. He never really shared his opinion(s)

I was told at the time those type of signings don't hurt teams :reporter:.

ive come around a bit, at first questioned the kidd hire a bit, out of all of the rumors of power hunger. But, the guy is literally an all time great who played in an era where our young core was growing up to and following. I dont think this point should be overlooked. He probably commands a great deal of respect.

I REALLy want to see wolters 1 year running the team, with Kidd's guidance. I honestly think he could end up being good enougn to start on a deep playoff team with a good 3 and D guy at the 2, peak Sanders, and a dynamic 6th man. Lot of ifs there, but Wolters can be a snow/fisher type. Not saying he will, or that we should pass on potential franchise talent, but I would be quite ok with nate running point next year.

Appologize for grammar/caps, had a couple drinks and am on my tablet :)

40 year old Kareem was probaby twice the athlete that current Hibbert is.

Those 3 signings were critical in us getting Parker. No way we finish with 15 wins if that money was wisely spent

We could've spent $0 and ended with 15 wins. Hell, maybe even less.

Unless Kohl mandated that he wanted some new shiny FA's. We are almost assuredly in a better position today because we spent the money on those 3 than if instead we had landed Teague, Bledsoe, etc

Don't forget we are still paying Gooden 6.7mil so you can bump that figure up to 22.2mil and we were just lucky that we were bailed out by the amnesty clause.

Mostly because that twitter thing a few pages back said we aren't getting Lebron, so a definite smokescreen!

Didn't lebron want to contract us from the league a few years ago?

In the likely event we don't land Bledsoe my vote is to take advantage of any opportunity to unload Larry & Mayo and swing a guy like Hibbert to a third team for picks and young fellas who could still make something of themselves.

Some expert (Windhorst?) just said on ESPN that he think the Suns might let Bledsoe go, but he also said that Bledsoe could be the Cavs' back-up plan to LeBron. So apparently he's getting his scoops from Wary Goelfel.

Not in that locker room with Kyrie and Waiters. Can you imagine how bringing in a guy like Bledsoe would go over with Waiters? Unless they plan on moving him I don't see this happening.

I know Hibbert is fun to kick around, but swapping he for Sanders would not be the worst deal in the world if Kidd had an accelerated plan to get a PG like Bledsoe. Hibbert was pretty much superior to Sanders until Hibbert had his personal meltdown last winter. Maybe it was caused by Paul George screwing his wife or whatever. Don't know.

If Kidd thought he could reclaim him with a change of scenery, AND the new ownership and Kidd didn't want to tank badly next year, this type of move could have some merit.

I remember that no one wanted AK47 for that period of time he was messed up with his wife and playing Warcraft all night. Hibbert could be the same way.
