Not really. Houston had just cleared the space to give him a 4 year deal at $84-88M, starting at ~20M. You wanna insult him by suggesting he's worth less? Or offer him max first year but not max raises or max years, and risk him saying, "thanks, but I'll go to this franchise that clearly appreciates what I bring to the table more than you do?"

We paid Bosh precisely what we needed to to ensure that he stays, and ensuring that he stays was necessary to avoid complete collapse into the lottery.

Add Bledsoe, maybe Gasol too?

Bledsoe/Napier
Wade/Granger
Ennis/Beasley
Bosh/Mcbob
Gasol/Bird

That's a contender.

^^ THIS!!!!!!!!!! get BLEDSOE & GASOL

That's literally impossible.

Pau is expecting too much it seems. We should at-least go all out for Bledsoe.

I'm still bitter. Ain't lying. He did us dirty. And knew he'd be looked at as an emotional hero and leave the hate behind.

The whore of Akron. Right?

bosh is worth the max. all 3 were underpaid because of the cap. he got what he's worth IMO.

It's not that Bosh isn't worth it. Bosh WANTED to be here. Bosh WANTS to win.

So you could've approached him and say take this, we'll give Wade this, and we get room to add piece to keep competing at a high-level.

If Bosh refused to take less, than ok. But I think when they saw the Woj bombs about Bosh, they just gave him the max. Of course Bosh wasn't going go to say I want less.

Does the lack of a finalized wade contract news mean he's willing to give up money to contend? Hope so

you don't know what the negotiation was like. I'm just guessing this was all worked out with bosh's agent long before. he'd take less to play with lebron otherwise he wants the max.

I hope Cavs trade Wiggins. I like the kid and I want to root a bit for him but my hate for Cleveland makes this impossible.

Not so sure.. I thought he was just trolling for the most part. He could just continue whatever he was doing from here on out

I heard on the radio he wants to give the heat flexibility. I'm sure he'll get his in the long run but wants to get other players I here now.

I am done for tonight, all I can say about any future signings this off season. I only want players that have a mutual interest in us..no RFA or popular players. If they don't want to be here, we shouldn't even think about them.

Just like some posters use the title "true heat fans" - now that LBJ is gone, we'll see who really wants to play for a 1st class organization......If we use our players to their maximum ability and not as just specialist, their value and effectiveness would be realized.

Translation: play the mofos on your team.

enjoy your Friday
