I actually am in a different way. We aren't contenders but there are a lot of new good players coming in, teams in the West getting stronger, East wide open to an extent now, more exciting teams, our own 1-2 punch with Bosh/Wade. As a basketball fan it will be interesting to see how the next season plays out.

This shocked me. I felt like choosing between Miami and Cleveland was too difficult. Our city has the flash that someone like Lebron was born for, everything about it. Thats why i kept saying damn, that country boy loves Cleveland that much? Well Ohio -- that he really is leaving prematurely to be there. Yes he does and the clues were all over. We just ignored it. But when he played for us, he gave his ALLLLLL. That i know.
Eh....again as I say winning titles here should have kept him. I also say this because of the Decision and the Letter from Gilbert. Many also thought no way he could ever put money in that owner's pockets, the backlash from the fans with burning his jerseys, making jokes about his mom and family, pissing on urinal cakes with his face etc.
As I am sure you are aware I have nothing against him in the aftermath and remain a fan of his game. He's a great-great player. Hell I will still watch some of his games (but without a rooting interest, not against him or for him). I know he gave us his all but you would have thought he knew how poorly run the Cavs were (have been until last season, the re-hiring and re-firing of Brown was![]()
) and how well-run this franchise is would have made his decision easier. Sure our roster doesn't looks as good but I am sure Riley would have re-tooled around him.

Two of the most important things we need to do is make sure Wade and Bosh make the allstar team and play in the olympic team. Why? To make friendship with super stars and plan our next big 3 verion 2.0
Didn't wade say he was done with USA basketball

I wish, I truly wish. Who chooses that franchise over Riley and Micky (the good guys). Its amazing, but the man loves his city in a way we cant even comprehend. We can't its **** shocking

The crazy thing is I still see a scenario in which Miami can make a very deep run in the playoffs. The following would need to happen:
- Melo stays in NY
- Indy's 2nd half swoon is closer to the real caliber of the team
- Chicago isn't able to land anyone of note and Rose is permanently damaged
- GS ups their package for Love or Minny trades him to another western team
- Wade is able to give 70 games at the level he played at last year before the finals
- Miami can get some decent pieces in free agency with massive cap space (not unrealistic)
Is it likely all of those things will happen? No. Is it possible? Yes. If it does Miami isn't in nearly as bad of shape as people think due to the massive weakness of the EC.
