Thunder Agree To Sign Anthony Morrow

Post#1 » by RealGM Wiretap » Sat Jul 12, 2014 5:31 pm

Anthony Morrow has agreed to sign with the Oklahoma City Thunder.

Morrow is one of the NBA's best spot-up three-point shooters.

useful player to have but what about Lamb's development? Not my franchise but it looks like they don't trust Lamb for the future. He was balling out before he got his PT cut last season. Any Thunder fan know whats up with him?

They want to keep Lamb, Jackson, and Adams in the second unit together. Morrow will come in and start. The floor spacing is going to be amazing!

Ahh ok, he took Thabo's spot. I figured Morrow fit better with Jackson who has the ball in his hands a lot. Thanks!

Small transaction, but this is an outstanding singing for the Thunder.

Agreed. Morrow is exactly the kind of player a contender could use.

lol Dont leave him open. He'll make you pay.
Peja, Iverson, CP3, T-Mac, Starks, Artest. Will never get over how the 01-02 Kings got cheated by the refs.

All of these overpays and nobody wanted to pay Morrow more than the $3.3mil OKC gave him? This dude is one of the best 3pt shooters for the past 5 years. OKC got a bargain.

His D was atrocious and Brooks loves to surround Russ and KD with defenders. To top it off he was streaky offensively which meant that he was a liability on the court too often

From a big-time Thunder fan... One, I don't think they want to put all of their eggs in one basket with Lamb. This definitely isn't them giving up on him though. They have a lot of minutes to replace between Butler, Fisher, and Sefolosha (over 50/game when all of those guys were playing). Morrow will eat up some of those, Lamb will get some of them, Roberson will get some of them and Jackson will get some of them. Morrow and Lamb will play together some where OKC goes with Ibaka-Durant-Morrow-Lamb-Russ so that they have more shooting to space the floor (something that really hurt last season).
