Houston lost Asik, Lin, and parsons for nothing. Wow.

You realize your best player is known to be one of the worst defensive players in the league right? Does that mean you think Harden is overpaid too?

So we've lost Lebron, Melo, Bosh, Asik, Lin and now Parsons all because we're too stubborn to move Harden![]()
It's going to be an entertaining 2015!
And Lowry, who Morey visited at 12:01 of free agency. I'm starting to wonder whether some stars actual repel FA's or whether it's just Morey. Houston seemed like leverage for everybody, rather than a first choice. Karma.

Is Houston better than Phoenix and Denver now? I'm honestly not sure.

LOL, I'm always forgetting Lowry.

So Utah wasn't supposed to match Hayward but the Rockets were supposed to match Parsons
When did Parsons get so overrated? Given a choice between him and Hayward, I would flip a coin.
Rockets are the ones that did the right thing here. Utah are the ones that f'ed up.

No surprise here, Ariza was signed to replace him.
Although pricey I loved him on the Rockets and happy to see him on the Mavs. But damn he's expensive as hell. But hey we get to stay competitive.

Don't worry, bud. The Sonics will be back someday. Seattle is too good of a sports town for that not to happen again sometime.
Morey totally screwed this up though.

It was a giant mistake. They could at least worked out a sign and trade w/ Dallas. Morey rep went from one of the best to WTH is he doing.
Lakers are 22-3 in OT last 6 seasons:Kobe best OT closer!

Say someone stupidly walked through the high-crime part of town shouting, "I have money!" Then he just handed the muggers his money instead of fighting back, thus avoiding getting stabbed.
He did the right thing by not getting stabbed, but he's damn moron for putting himself in that position for no good reason.

Overrated?? You serious?? Parsons is easily one of the most underrated players in the NBA. He's only 25 and is only going to get better. He already had perennial all-star written all over him and now he can learn from one of the best head coaches in the game. He's going to flourish under Carlisle.

Dont worry, next year the Rockets will attempt to trade for him again. Perhaps they will try to get back Dragic this year.

Well hello there, Chandler!
Looking forward to seeing his skill set on the Mavs.
I really like how the player movement is setting up this year for some interesting match-ups and rivalries. Should be great!

Hayward didn't have a team option for $964,750.

Q00 wrote:Honestly Morey is smart for not matching. That is WAY too much for Parsons. But he is dumb for putting himself in a situation where he had to match a max offer, when he could've just kept him on a rookie contract for another year. He created this problem, not Dallas.
This. Not matching Dallas' offer isn't a mistake. I believe he was correct. You cannot spend that much on a guy like Parson. Now, his mistake was what you described.
That was dumb as ... Then he signed Ariza for 4 years on a supposedly good contract but we all know Ariza is a shell of himself when he's not on contract years.
