Cant imagine that the Heat have enough money

Not Sure...they only have 6 people under contract.

?
Wade 20+mil
Bosh 20+mil
Deng 10mil
McBob 5.3mil
Birdman 5mil
Mario 4mil
Granger 2mil
Cole 2mil
Shabazz 1mil

pretty sure they are over the 63mil cap, even if they wait to actually sign the Wade and Bosh contracts until after Bledsoe they couldn't offer more than 10mil as the cap ceiling is 81mil.

So Miami can only offer 10M?

Are they really going to give Wade $20+ million? I wouldn't give that dude $8 million at this point. He is done.

I'd be pretty surprised if PHX keeps Bledsoe. They would make David Kahn's addiction to young PGs look healthy.

I don't think Bird, Rio, Wade, Haslem salaries have been released yet. But if they are all in the neighborhood of what they are expected to make (lengthen Wade's contract out to 4 years at ~14M, UD's to 3 years at 2.4, 4M for Rio, ~5M for Bird) they aren't even close to 10M.

Bosh 20.8M (CAP HOLD-which is less than the actual deal)
Wade 14M (His cap hold is FAR >>>, so he has to sign first)
Deng 10M
McBob 5.4M
Bird 5M
Rio 4M
UD 2.4M
Granger 2M
Cole 2M
Napier 1.5M
Justin Hamilton .8M

So they are already at the cap. Not a lot of cap gymnastics possible as the cap holds are all pretty much in line with what they are going to get.

Miami literally cannot get him. Period. If they have to fit him in under the cap its a horrible deal that just gets matched. It'd have to be a SnT. And I don't know who they trade. They don't have anyone they CAN trade.

Love to see some movement on this if we're serious.

Probably all hinges on Ersan, but we should be looking to move Delfino or Zaza too.

I would agree, but I'm assuming that they have promised him more than the 2yrs 48mil that he opted out of

PG Bledsoe/Thomas (Ennis in D-League)
SG Dragic/Goodwin
SF Tucker/Green/Warren
PF Morris/Morris
C Plumlee/Len

I would be shocked if the Suns don't resign Bledsoe.

That frontcourt is terrible, but I agree I think the Suns match Bledsoe.

It was 2/42.

Wade is going to be made whole but it might end up being 4/56 which could start at 13M or so.

But there isn't anywhere near enough wiggle room here to get him to something that isn't instymatched unless they completely screw Wade over.

Trying to picture a sign and trade between the two teams, but nothing really seems like a good fit here. I would say make the Parsons type offer, and force PHX hand to match at this point.

We could still offer roughly a 3 year 40M dollar deal as we sit today, right? Or a 4 year 55M dollar deal-ish.

Never said they wouldn't match, I think they'd look to do a sign and trade if he signed an offer sheet.

The Bledsoe to Heat thing just got debunked on Miami sports talk radio. It started when someone sent out a grainy photo of Riley supposedly meeting with Bledsoe. The guy who took the photo just said it was Luol Deng at dinner and not Bledsoe.

Add in the fact the Heat don't have the money and Bledsoe's agent is Rich Paul.......

I truly think we are in this thing......

That makes much more sense. I didn't see how they have the money for Bledsoe.

Come on Bucks, let's do this.

I've also seen mentioned in these stories, including Coro's.....

If the Bucks do, their cap space is tied up for the three days Phoenix gets to respond.

^^^that is a non-starter. Who cares if our cap space is tied up. We would only use it for one player, Bledsoe. We've got 14 other guys under contract already.
