For me, it was certainly the latter.
I can't answer that because we never played them when Bosh played like that with our healthy team.
I never felt we had any real chance without Rose, and that is the only time Bosh started drifting out there.
But I can't see that Bosh being on the arc more would have made it any easier to concede to them a worse shot, than vs the elbow.
The Cleveland dynamic is going to be so totally different than Miami, I'm not sure we can even draw comparisons.
For one, if they expect Dion to be their Wade, he has a ways to go, but he is at least a much better shooter. And there were times with Wade on the floor when their offense started getting bogged down. This won't figure to happen nearly so much in that lineup.
Also Love has a dimension Bosh doesn't, he still scores in the paint. As I've noted his post up numbers were more efficient than Pau last year, and a healthy 23% of his shots come from there.
How is Irving going to be used, will he still run offense to give LeBron breaks, more like Wade still did in 2011, or will he totally defer to being a secondary action playmaker and spot up shooter. We know nothing about Blatt's style either.
