The Dodgers acquired right-hander Kevin Correia from the Twins on Saturday night for a player to be named or cash.

Correia, 33, is 5-13 with a 4.94 ERA in 23 starts this season. He has spent parts of 12 years in the Major Leagues, the last seven almost exclusively as a starter.

All that money the Twins gave Ricky Nolasco, only for halfway through the season, Nilasco's been on the shelf for near a month, and then the Dodgers trade for end up with probably the better pitcher and contract in Correia.
