John Wall was injured all the time and got the max. I think Bledsoe could get a near max if he stayed healthy for a full season.

John Wall was only significantly injured in the '12-13 season. He played in 69 of 82 games his rookie season (undertandable since rookies can get beat down by their acclimatization in their rookie campaigns) and proceeded to play in all 66 games in the lockout season as well as all 82 this past. Wall isn't injury prone, just had one freak injury.

Why? Its like you guys just hate to see a young athlete with tattoo exact his power. He's the best player on the team and should be paid like it. End of story.

You too should take that minimum wage job while the offer is still on the table

I'm with you, I think he can do better than 4/48. Maybe not by too much but he should keep holding out and using his leverage to get as much as he can. PHX doesn't hold all the cards in this situation and Bledsoe should make sure he plays all his before signing anything.

He's definitely not their best player, though; Dragic was last year and it wasn't close.

Why should he? He can take the qualifying offer at the last minute, become and unrestricted free agent and almost assuredly get the same 4 years 48 million next year on the open market. He isn't taking that big of a risk, any he just might get a ridiculous offer like Chandler Parsons received.

Actually if you ask me which Center I want for my perfect championship caliber team, I will chose Asik hands down

While I agree, there's no reason to rush on this offer, he is most certainly taking a risk. He has some injury concerns, and he could go into this next season, have a career threatening injury, and lose out on a ton.

You just validated my statement. The anger you guys show goes beyond just player personnel decisions. I can feel the vibe in this thread. It is the same vibe you feel in the Spreewell, "I gotta feed my family" threads.

I know why you're mad. But his talent trumps your feelings.

Dragic played very well, but based on Talent and impact. Bledsoe is their best player.

I'd be happy to hear an argument but I can't see one. Dragic did pretty much everything better last year, and his advanced numbers, plus/minus, efficiency, etc were all better. He was also the team leader this year (and he also didn't miss half the season). Bledsoe is stronger and more athletic but Dragic is a better player now, helps his team more and has a more positive overall impact.

Bledsoe can cry all he wants about PHO saying they'll match any offer but he needs to realize that doesn't usually stop teams from offering, plus its their right. If they want you they will make an offer, no one has offered? than maybe they don't want you. Hes acting like they've completely cornered him or something. I don't understand what kind of people he has advising him if they make him believe he cant be settling for less than the max. YOU ARE NOT A MAX PLAYER. These are the situation that show a players true colours, the opinion Ive drawn from this is that Bledsoe puts himself before the team, which isn't exactly shocking.

As an end result I want to see these agents lose these battles, they are ruining the quality if teams with this stupid MAX bull. Players like Eric, Parsons and Hayward should NOT be getting paid like this. If nothing else, it shows that players don't even have to achieve greatness but they'll still end up getting paid like they are. They need to create classes or something. Eric Bledsoe should not be getting paid like Lebron was at that time

It more like Net Present Value thing. Dragic is 28, Bledsoe is 24. Eric is a two way player which can't really be quantified. 4 years from now Goran will be a bench warmer on his way out of the league and Bledsoe will be in the middle of his prime.

 where have you been the last half decade? Plenty of ways to quantify defense. 82games has Dragic as the better defender, and much better player. So does basketball reference. Dragic is currently the better player, face of that franchise, and in 4 years will still be in his prime. You have no clue what you're saying.
KC: Do you still think you're a championship-caliber team?
Gar: I never said that and correct me if I'm wrong
