Not that I think he's peaked or stopped improving but I do think what you see is likely what you'll get but with better efficiency.

A's over Royals. Lester and experience will prove that he's worth the trade.
Tigers winning it all. Tigers are, imo, peaking at the right time.

I know but assuming he agrees to it. UFA at the end of the year?
Yes but without his Bird rights intact.
Zero Tolerance wrote:I'm very optimistic about this season. I think people may be sleeping a bit on Kieff. I think he is due for a breakout season. I also think the FO feels this, so a push for a trade for a big is not important right now. Same thing could happen for Plum. With Bledsoe likely no longer in the mix for any more than 1 season, he becomes a really good piece of trade bait for a team trying to get over the hump and wants to upgrade at PG spot with the best chance to resign him in the offseason. I can see a team like Atlanta or the Pelicans have a breakout season and making a trade for Bledsoe. I definitely wouldn't mind having Jrue Holiday on the team. Jeff Teague to a lesser extent. Both of which are already on decent contracts.
Paul - why don't the Suns ask Bledsoe where he would be traded for the QO?
Good question. Guess they'd rather use what is left of the time before the QO deadline to see if they can get a contract done.

Duncan hasn't renewed or extended and is on his last year of his contract. They sign Monroe at near max, resign Leonard at near max, Duncan extends one season to pass the torch to Monroe.
In Popovic's team defense structure, Monroe will be an above average defender, if Diaw, Bonner, Baynes are adequate in that system, imagine a legit 6'11 mobile skilled big man like him.
Probably got spoke to off court or off the record... Why would he re-sign long term with a selfish and disfunctional Pistons team, if he could play for a contender at max or near max money.

Diaw's defense is underrated in this post

I don't think Isaiah Thomas can help replace him at all. Whatever gain Thomas gives us on the offensive, he will sacrifice it to the other team on the defensive end.
No Bledsoe and we'll be picking #8-#12 next summer imo. Which sucks cause we won't even have a bad enough pick to land a big difference maker from the '15 draft.

Maybe IT will replace him just fine. He has the talent to. Regardless, at least we'll be exciting to watch again.
Really looking forward to all Sacramento games.

But, who cares. Anyone who thought the suns had a shot at the POs last year were prolly lambasted as stupid homers, yet they were right.
So this year, imma try to let the stupid homerism flow strong in my preseason veins

If Bledsoe returns I think the issue for the playoffs will revolve around how well the Morris twins can replace Frye. The Ish to Isaiah move is a huge upgrade. Bledsoe for a full season vs half a season is a huge upgrade. But losing Channing is our unknown. All I know is we were a lot of fun to watch last season, I hope we recapture that part of our recent past.
