I appreciate the love guys, but honestly, im not worthy of any 1st/2nd nominations, there are much more worthy posters. And ive had years where I did the Daily Papers (almost daily) and received one year end vote (thanks Rhett), back then I contributed alot more. And as an aside, now that we have access to previous posts, and other posters previous posts, I dont want to be Mod. So dont vote for me for that either, besides I would likely lock more threads per 100 threads than Ozzy, my TLMr (thread locking/merging ratio) would be extremely high, vote for someone like Clutch/Dagger/etc.. again its appreciated though.

Okay now that I prefaced with that, this And 1 stuff has been the worst thing to happen to our specific board (Raps). As you can see, people are concerned about how many and whos got the most, to catering to posters who And 1 everything of their respective friends. I mean no disrespect to TankNation/Underdog/etc.., im sure they are nice guys and have given me quite a few And 1s, but they arent providing the content that drives this place. I neglected to mention Undefeated in my initial post (good call DH, hell even you deserve more votes man) but look at what he provides, look at how Rhett posts every Raps related tweet/article, what Hassan gave us for content, how about all the stuff TZ has done. I could keep going, but this should be a celebratory thread not one complaining, just irked me to read some of these posts. Carry on guys.

There are several posters on here I enjoy, some I dont, which I wont name... But when it comes to stats, insight, analytics, Double Helix is my Real GM Raptors poster of the year.

I think we have a great group of people on this board. Some are very knowledgeable not just about the Raptors but about the game in general. A lot of the guys here also have a great way with words and you find yourself immersed in their posts regardless of whether you agree with them or not. Finally, some have a great sense of humour and always have the right jokes/pics/.gifs for the occasion. Those people really helped me deal with the Game 7 loss. So, a big thanks to all the contributing members of this board. You each deserve a participation award. Let's go Raptors.

I can't put together a list because I'm extremely bad with names but i will say a few things. I don't want to forget anyone I like so I'll keep it generic.

1. There's a certain group of you and I'm pretty sure you know who you are, that I love conversing with on here. There's also a select few that I can't stand and again I think you know who you are.

2. I want to give a specific shout out to 2 posters who pour their heart and soul into making this place great and that's Rhett & Hendrix. I appreciate all the work you guys put in, transcribing things, posting articles, analyzing stats and just making this place as enjoyable as possible.

3. This was a great year for raptors basketball. One of the most active I've been on this board because of all the excitement around the team. I'm looking forward to another great year with many of you.
