Well yeah if Knight doesn't have the ball he cant ruin the offense. If he's just going to bring the ball up the court then pass it to someone who isn't blind then fine you can call him the PG. If he attempting to initiate any volume of offense though he's the worst option we have other than maybe Bayless.

I've been curious as to why the Eric Bledsoe talks with MIL didn't work out, was it just the price tag because dayum, that guard rotation looks ...

Was he really that bad last year?
I know he didn't play a lot because of injury but what I saw in his year in Dallas was that he could really shoot the ball when he was engaged but the problem was that he, far too often, drifted out of the action.

Yeah that honestly came off as sour grapes more than actual useful analysis.
The Knight debate can be solved by watching the kid play for 10 minutes. If he was born 1-2 inches taller the notion of him being an NBA PG would be absurd. Unlike guys with traditionally low assist totals like Parker/Lillard, he has complete tunnel vision and isn't even capable of seeing things that every PG should.
He is the best player on the team that is listed as a PG, but he is not the best option to actually play the position. As someone who watched virtually every game by these three when they were in Bucks unis, Knight makes Jennings and Monta look like playmaking savants.

It wasn't intended as analysis, just an anecdote to lead into my thoughts on your roster.
But....
What was he doing? I think even if it's only an isolated incident it still has something to say about Parker. Just because it was so very odd. like if he took a hook or granny shot from 3. It was just strange. To me it said that he wasn't very disciplined in his training. He didn't seem to have a solid natural reaction to that situation complete with the accompanying muscle memory to carry it out. Why else the odd reaction? I mean I can't imagine his old teammate, Rodney Hood, getting the ball behind the line like that and doing anything but launching a great form three point shot. Because that's been drilled into Hood by thousands of repetitions. For Hood to leap towards the basket and corkscrew his body in the air while shooting on an open three attempt would be alarming to me. Not sure why it shouldn't raise at least a small red flag for Buck fans.
I actually thought my comments on him were quite balanced, I went out of my way to say how he looked good and I could see why teams were high on him, so not sure how it comes across as sour grapes. I guess some folks are just quick to find fault.

"Thibs called back and wanted more picks," said Jorge Sedano. "And Pat Riley, literally, I was told, called him a mother-bleeper and hung up the phone."

It's almost as if he's 19 or something.
You weren't trying to sound vitriolic but it's really strange and it colors people's (who are reading an analysis) images of a player a little unfairly to nitpick one awful play. And it doesn't help that you're now doubling down by comparing him to your own player.
The point was that Jabari Parker has bad shot selection sometimes at this time, that's fine, just a very odd and slanted way of putting it.

It wasn't the selection I was concerned about, it was the execution.

It really doesn't matter as much to me as it does to some Bucks fans if Knight is the starting point guard because if they're running the offence through the forwards, the need for a traditional point guard that a lot of people have fallen in love with the idea of, isn't needed as much anymore
agreed... I don't care who runs pg. if our offense isnt being started on the wings... then im going to have more of an issue with the coaching staff then im going to have with whose playing pg.

25 seems high, I'm gonna go with about 21 wins.
Parker won't increase the total wins that much, even if he pans out.

I would guess adding Dudley increases the odds that Knight is the starting PG.

It is not only Parker. You have Sanders hopefully playing more; Giannis, Henson, Wolters, Middleton, Knight all a year older; a team not trying to lose after the first couple of months; and a head coach that isn't one of the worst coaches in the league.
If Mayo, Ersan, or Dudley bounce back at all to their 2012-2013 form then I don't think the playoffs are out of the realm of possibilities.
