Now use harangue in a sentence:

"Brian is being harangued about the Ryan Anderson pick."

40 may be available. I will consider offers comprising picks and/or players.

If you somehow wanna trade him away before the exhibition games, I don't think you can get equal value. and you really have no idea how good the guy will return. He had excruciating pain in his arms and fingers even after his injury. That's scary.

Don't get me wrong, I love Anderson and his fantasy value. and I'm sure many people, including me would have called Ryno a good pick at 47. That's all.

btw, when you say "I could have waited to get him at 47 and taken Kobe at 34" that means you actually traded up for Ryno, not Kobe. A manager usually trades up for whichever player has the least chance of sliding. In your case that is Kobe. That's why people say you traded up for Ryno and not Kobe. Hope now you understand =)

Hmmm...maybe if I didn't have 34 already, but when I say things like "I was targeting Ryno at 34" I don't see how it can be any clearer that I didn't trade up to get Ryno. I traded up to get someone to pair WITH Ryno (Kobe). Either way, I think you're muddling up this whole discussion...and, to be honest, people aren't saying I traded up for Ryno, it's pretty much just you. :D

The argument you should be making is that trading up to 35 to get Kobe might've been a bad deal. Because that argument is much easier for you to make without using the circular reasoning you're using now. 8-)

FWIW, if you want to argue that Ryno wasn't a good pick at 34, then you'd also have a much clearer and easier argument. I took a big swing at 34, and it could fail. Yes, his injury was huge, but I read the reports and I feel like he'll be ok.

Either way, though, yes, we must be really bored...

If you hadn't made the trade, whom would you have picked @ 35 (if that was the pick you already owned) ?

Looking to trade down a few spots, hit me on offers. I'll be away from communications for about 2 hours, will be under ground, subway, etc.

I wish I had Theman's draft picks instead of my own. Some nice trading there.

Curtis and theman with the extremes. Curtis going top heavy (5 players in top 52, not picking again until 163) while theman with 11 picks from 60 to 149.

I think everyone is missing the point by saying wb made a bad play by moving up to pick rhyno.

He made a bad move picking him regardless of whether the pick was traded for or not.

that's what I said to him exactly.

and on top of that I said this:
If you target player X at 34. And then trade up for 35 and pick Y at 35. If player Y has the better value, who wouldn't have lasted until 40, then you essentially traded up to get player Y. Not X..

I think theman is going to keep trading down until he just has all 14 picks in a row centered on 99-101.
