I hated having to sweat it out but all things considered and how we lost a heartbreaker in the opener last season then I am pretty happy!

Next game is Detroit at home, their offense is pretty flipping good (Megatron is terrifying) but the defense is iffy, hopefully Suh doesn't step on any of our guys heads

EDIT: also worth noting they will also be on a short week (play tomorrow vs NYG)

The interior of our line looked solid for opening holes. Chandler looked very confused at times on the edge when they ran games. I do think the WR corps if better than I thought. Avant is coming along but I am not sure Bersin wouldn't be a better option at WR than Cotchery right now. Defense looks stout in the front but I do worry about what will happen when a team really decides to throw on us.

http://sports.yahoo.com/blogs/nfl-shutd ... 08291.html

And they just lost a rare gimme at home – any good NFL team beats a team quarterbacked by Anderson at home, which was a gift when Cam Newton was declared inactive – and not just lost but were humiliated.
They rip us in this article almost as much as they do Tampa. Has everyone forgotten how good our defense was last year?

Got a little close late but the defense looked dominant for 3 quarters, feels great to start the season off with a win.

Lions can put up some points but they also had one of the worst turnover differentials last year, force Stafford to make a few mistakes and we should be on our way to a 2-0 start.

Guess I should be used to it after all these years. They made Anderson out like he was Jimmy Clausen for heaven sakes

Greg Hardy cannot be feeling too good right now. With the Ravens releasing Ray Rice for domestic violence, you know he has to be worried about next year. Carolina may totally wash their hands of him after this season and not make him an offer and he may be simply ignored by all other teams. I applaud the Ravens for taking this step as a stand against domestic violence. May help prevent future incidents from ever taking place.

Can't wait to see how Benjamin plays with Newton, it is like a match made in heaven!

On the Lions first drive 1 forced fumble, another ball that wouldve been a fumble recovery if it was ruled a completed catch, we will get a couple turnovers in this game i can feel it.
