I absolutely agree. This place is starting to resemble the NBA subreddit, where people are always posting "funny" one-liners and fishing for internet points, more than a basketball forum known for its quality. I'm guilty of it, even. Hopefully once the offseason ends this will be less of a problem.

Looks like it's done with some JavaScript that increments a list... pulls the post counter from a List. I'd guess someone could just send arbitrary values to that list. Don't have the time to look into it now but will help the Admins/Tech guys out later if they want me to.
