It would probably work better with him as a PF. A stretch 4 would help spacing in the SL if Demar doesnt improve his 3% in the future.

I don't get all the Bruno hype when Bebe Nogueira was a higher draft pick. He just went to a different team at first.

To me he looks very raw but he has a good toolset and apparently a good work ethic as well so there's hope. We're a deep team, don't think he's gonna see many minutes this year.

Valid point. I was considering starting a Bebe thread. Hopefully, he gets some floor time next game. I'm excited to see what a Spanish league defensive player of the year can do.

Well Bebe was a higher draft pick in a horrible draft. Bruno was a lower pick in a deep draft.

Like how confident he is. Sometimes that serves a player well, and their actual ability eventually catches up to their confidence. Like Demar.

Bruno could've have gone a lot higher if the word about him got out quicker.

If he waited till next year he could've risen like Exum did.

The arc on his shot is kind of gorgeous.

I really think he plays like a stretch 4 or at best a slow 3 like Tayshaun.

Needs to improve his lateral quickness and quickness and speed in general. Looks like he could be a great stretch four but I would love to see him improve in those areas so he can then stick at the three position.

I think he has pretty good quickness overall. In Summer League I saw him move his feet well that allowed him to stay in front of his defender, and although he doesn't have the quickest first step it seems above average from what I've seen. The problem is that he's lacking soooooo much actual basketball experience he doesn't even know how to utilize his own physical gifts properly. In a way he's like Javale McGee who has fantastic physical gifts but doesn't know how to use them because of his own idiocy. With Bruno though it's only because of inexperience, and that's easier to fix than being a moron.

He needs to improve his quickness that would allow him to over help on defense and then recover back to his man because he's so long. I see him becoming a good stretch four option if he takes that route because of his help defense potential.

Issue with summer league is that they aren't all NBA players for sure and if he wants to be great and guard some of the best they general have nasty first steps his length will help but if you're too slow reacting it doesn't matter. I think. He also has a tendency to look lost without the ball not maybe knowing where to be or how to play off of certain guys but that's probably a lack of experience and lack of understanding the system and even then the language. This year really should just show up what he could do in the future ie. flashes of his high ceiling it's the years after that we will need to see the growth and consistency develop and then flourish.

I agree that Summer League doesn't matter much, just saying that he showed flashes of good overall quickness, both lateral and first step.
