5-1 after 40 minutes. Admittedly, lots of luck (finally), but here is why we didn't fire Peter Bosz! xD

that goal by costa today was ridiculous, from the pass, to the run, to the finish.

The Buffalo Bills could use a passer like Fabregas, even if he was just allowed to use his feet. That was a Hail Mary and everything about it was brilliant. Hazard was dynamic and creative as usual. Agreed about Oscar. His work rate is top notch and he's a very underrated clean tackler. And Costa was Costa. The man is just an assassin.

I LOVE this Chelsea squad. How could any fan not? Just an incredible mix of youth and in-prime vets. So enjoyable to watch.

I don't know who I'd consider a better all-rounder: Willian or Oscar?

I'm just glad we have both

http://sabotagetimes.com/reportage/why- ... number-10/

good article about Oscar and his role as a unique #10 and how it all fits together now with a deep playmaker - both offensively and defensively. much of this also applies to Willian when he plays as the #10.

imagine what kind of unholy pressing mayhem could be unleashed with an attacking band of willian, oscar and ramires. i surely wouldnt want to watch that group try to create goals, but it would be awesome to watch them hound and harass a team trying to build from the back.

Stoke Dec 22 on monday night.

Let's see if Cesc and Costa can do it on a windy, cold monday night in december at the Britannia.

You forget that Fabregas has been there, done that ;-)

Also, a great article on Cesc:

http://metro.co.uk/2014/10/06/cesc-fabr ... m-4894748/

The Chelsea midfielder grabbed his seventh Premier League assist in as many games to consign his old team to a 2-0 defeat at the weekend, and embarrassingly, it’s the same amount that the Gunners have managed between them.

I always rated him highly but did not expect him to be this good. Either its a case of right place right time, Mourinho getting the most out of him, Costa being the player he's always needed in front of him, or all of the above. But he's easily been the best midfielder in the league this year.
There is no consolation prize. Winning is everything.

is costa actually injured this time? I have him as my FPL captain. These hamstring injury stories before smashing in a hat trick the next day is getting boring lol

Vitesse beat Willem II 4-1. I didn't really like Wallace and Traore's play, took too many risks and especially Traore didn't hustle back on several occasions. Traore did score, though I did not see the goal.

Costa is too much of a beast. Great signing so far. I just hope he heals and continue his beastly play.

I think we can rule out Solanke, Boga, Kane and Loftus-Cheek - they are all playing today for the U-21 team.

so maybe something like???

cech
zouma, cahill, christensen?, ake?
mikel, baker?
salah, oscar, schurrle
brown?

if all goes well, maybe a cameo run out for ramires and costa to see how they are feeling.

I don't see Jose starting that many youngsters to be honest, maybe off the bench and even then probably for a 5-10 minute cameo.

I expect Ake and Zouma to play but that's about it

Cech
Iva, Zouma, Cahill, Luis
Ake, Mikel
Salah, Oscar, Schurrle
Drogba
