SF. Though with his defence he could switch over to either.

I wasn't aware his address was a secret. This board has some curious censorship issues.

It's not a secret, but it's direct access for psychopaths....this is RealGM, after all.

It's not very hard to just google it and get the article. If someone is crazy enough to do something with his address, they are going to be crazy enough to take the 25 seconds to find it themselves.

Interview w/ Andrew Wiggins' high school coach

Post#54 » by OnAirDonnie » Thu Oct 30, 2014 1:28 pm

Hi Wolves fans!

My online radio show, The Bench (edited out the direct link. Check the signature instead. Basti) has a really cool interview this week with Gus Gymnopolous - the man who coached Andrew Wiggins in high school, and started working with him in the 6th grade.

Gus discusses Andrew's upside, his special talents, why he really chose Kansas and how the Cavaliers will greatly regret the trade.

Please check it out.

You can also get our show by downloading Stitcher to your smartphone / tablet or find us on iTunes. Just search "The Bench"

Thanks!

Anyone feel free to chime in, but two things worry me about Andrew Wiggins..

1. The man LOVES Toronto. Not saying it's bad to rep your hometown (I rep San Diego all the time), but it gives me this uneasy feeling that he might want to play for his hometown team in the future. I like to imagine that any player who is good would like to stay in Minny. The evidence is in his fashion style (Reps the Leaf alot) and in his debut game, instead of posting about playing in his first game or whatever, he posted a pic of him playing with his boys back in Canada on Instagram.

2. His attitute...or lack OF attitude. This isn't new, this has been on the scouting report since he stepped onto the Kansas courts in college. Again, i'm not saying it's a bad thing; look at Kawhi Leonard..A silent beast..but Andrew Wiggins isn't a Kawhi Leonard prospect, he has potential to be a tier 1 player and players like LeBron, Durant, Paul, Love, Blake, Kobe, George, Lillard, etc ALL have an edge to them that seperates them from the rest.

Wiggins is so smiley all the time, it reminds me of another athletic player we drafted that had "The NBA look"...but I won't dare say his name.

Only time will tell, but it's some things i've noticed...INB4 "It's only been one game!!!!"

Think he can be great. He's a monster of an athlete, that much is crystal clear. Certain parts of his game are weak, but other parts are potentially obscene. That step back? I, mean, come on! Sure, he's being guarded by some shmuck, but soon enough, it won't matter. And as far as the attitude thing goes - he's just a kid. Still learning about himself. Let him grow.

Raw, but I believe the hype.

You think buying a house means he's committed to minnesota ? He's bound to sign a max contract where that 1.6 million is peanuts . That house is completely irrelevant to him staying here.

I think wiggins when his contract is up will weigh his options , Toronto has a very good young team, it's very possible he does go back it could be a very good situation and it's his home town . Could you blame him ? I mean if he's a star if want him to stay but he's going to do what's best for his career just like everybody else.

Why do people assume that it's Toronto, though?

Throughout NBA history, how many NBA players "went home" in free agency? Other than LeBron, I can't think of many.
