I think the Raps win this one by 12-15. I just don't think the Wizards are ready for them, particularly without Beal.

The constant flux of the 2nd unit is also an issue. Aside from Porter, we can't really know for sure what we're getting, even then, Porter had his first bad game of the season yesterday.

Seraphin may prove to be our undoing yet again.

The Raptors were really hard to beat last season, mainly because they moved the ball quickly which allowed their roleplayers to get hot. This season (seen most of their games bc of free league pass) it seems that they've regressed to an iso-style game with Lowry and Derozan dominating the ball. Ross, Patterson, etc who used to get more touches aren't doing too much this season. Unless Toronto regains the spark of chemistry they had last season, I don't think they are better than Washington. Wiz are more talented, balanced, with more consistent vets.

Think it's likely that our bigs give us the edge in this one. Wall and Gortat will PnR the Raptors to death (the only team who has been able to defend it so far is Indiana who still have Hibbert).

Hopefully it will be a epic game between 2 of the best teams in the East who have both somewhat under preformed even with 4 & ! records. Both teams are capable of being better and some has been due to injuries Beal (Washington) and Amir & Jonas (Toronto).

Washington is my second favorite team and would usually wish you well but love to see both teams playing up to there capabilities. The biggest factor in the Raptors favor is the depth of the team. Best of luck on any game you aren't playing the Raptors.

Basketball is all about match-ups. People who think about simple "better vs worse" when looking at two teams are being to simplistic. Wiz got to the second round of the playoffs because we match up with the Bulls well.

In that same vein, it's frustrating how well the Raptors match up against us. It's almost like a team having your number.

I don't know if Amir Johnson is going to play, but if he does, he's probably going for 50. When he plays against the Wizards, it's like a hungry dog eyeing a pork chop. Can't figure that out.

I like the Raptors (except when we play them). I just hope we hang in there until late in the 4th, then let our experienced guys (Truth, Nene) take over for the last few possessions.
