Also, note that we have a separate insults and trolling thread. Consider this your personal invitation to try and drop your witty, clever, and insightful bombs. We *invite* and value smart, witty interboard banter. Ain't no thin-skinned warnings or suspensions associated with that thread.

Now I know that just about half of all RealGM posters seem to be from Toronto. And you guys like to swarm a place like a horde of Biblical-era locusts. But a million "Raptors in 4" posts just will not represent your fair city the way you'd like. So think about trolling and insults that are really sharp and biting.

Best wishes. Hope to see you around. And tell your mayor that we have a fair number of really good buffets in Washington, DC and he'd like it here.

Your bench is pretty good but with injuries forcing certain guys to start, like Temple, your bench really has not been great thus far. 23.8 ppg compared to 34.4 for Raptors. Wiz allow 33.4 ppg, Raps allow 24.4. I think the benches could prove the difference

You sound like you did your research.

Let me add to it.

Humphries was one of the main bench additions and he was injured to start year. He was active game one, but not healed up and only played because Nene and Blair were suspended. We played MIA very shorthanded. Its just a hand injury so nothing to bad, but it was a cut and required surgery and invoked a nerve. He had gotten just a few mins so far but I imagine he will be ready to contribute around now. Its been another 8 days since he turned from injury and they have gotten by without him so he could fully heal up.

Professor .. A Miller... he doesn't really work out over the off season so he plays himself into shape. After 3 games he had a great game 4 but last game was a back to back. He isn't there for that yet. But this game will be after a day of rest. I expect the legs to be felling good.

Paul about the same. Older vets like those two time time to warm up. Paul will be rested as well.

We haven't even dusted off D Blair yet.

I think you can count on one thing. Wizards will be rested, and hungry and Paul will have them pumped and showing no fear when they go to TOR.

Here is where we left off last year. Wizards in TOR
http://espn.go.com/nba/boxscore?gameId=400489737

If the game is close at the half, don't count on it being that way after the 3rd quarter. Wizards have been playing patient and coming out strong in the 3rd. Then closing out. Except that IND game was pretty weak. But again, it was a back to back and we have a couple older players not ramped up to that level yet.

You might want to meet this fella.

We call him.. TEMPLE OF DOOM... or DOOOOOOOOM for short.

Dooooom is the

12th ranked SG in the league in PPG.

http://espn.go.com/nba/statistics/playe ... ing-guards

9th best 3 ball shooter .519 from 3 land on 5.4 attempts with more makes then Klay Thompson at .500%

And

13th ranked Rebounding SG with 4.2

10th in FG % .469

15th in FT % .818

6th in steals 1.60

He is starting. Playing 35 minutes a game. And he is a great defender. When Beal comes back, they are legit two deep. When Webster returns... 3 deep. And 6' 8" OttoMatic Porter is playing some SG as well.

Wizards lined up a deep roster this year, which was TOR main advantage last year.

Lol completely skipped past his name. Looks solid.

Check out James Johnsons efficient self

Youre preaching to the choir bub. We dont play 4 quarters of ball. We play the last 1.5 quarters.

Best 4th quarter team in the league last year, by far.

Will be an interesting game both teams have yet to play close to their full capabilities.

And for the second half we are in the same boat. Thus far Raptors have always started off slow and finished strong

I'm not worried about this game at all. The Wizard's bench is thing and they're without their two best shooters. Wall makes poor decisions, and as someone wrote earlier, PP wasn't the raptor killer in the BKN series, it was Johnson. We have more talent. The word is Amir is good for tomorrow, too. I think we could take this handily even without Jonas.

BUT this IS the NBA, and the raps HAVE been inconsistent, so you never know.

I still say the Raps are the better team though. But of course I'm unabashedly biased.
