Remember in 93 / 94 when the scoring race came down to the final game of the season? David Robinson scored 71 points to pass Shaq.

It would be ironic if Amir will play and Jonas not.

You are pretty much assuming you know JVs condition

That's just wrong

I've seen what has happened over and over again, two light contacts, nothing serious.
Maybe he is made of crystal, or is simply soft.

Amir and Vasquez have always played despite their constant pain.

wow that's a stupid assumption

players don't decide that they don't feel like playing or not (unless it's bargnani). Doctors clear them for the lineup.

People can be in pain but not injured and that doesn't = doctors pulling someone out.

No.

Amir was advised to undergo surgery years ago.
The player (unless big damages) always has the last word.

That's not the point. The point is you never know when it's the player or doctors so don't say a professional athlete is **** soft while you're bashing away on a keyboard.

I laugh at the people who complain they aren't playing and calling them "soft", meanwhile in the same post they don't even know what JV's condition is. Maybe make a trip to Google before you complain and throw players under the bus.

One regular season game is not worth it if there is even a 10% risk that they could miss more time in the longrun. I mean the Spurs just threw away a game last night and players weren't even hurt...

I said, he's too soft as a player. (FOR MY TASTE)
Regarding injuries and as regards his attitude.

This is my idea, which is often supported by facts.
This doesn't mean that he can't be dominant and has no talent, i like him but i don't like his attitude.

JV is a garbage man anyway, his job was to play defense and rebound. Casey shouldn't miss him...

I wonder if our guards plan on playing any defense today.

you do not risk our center this early in the season..playoffs is bigger picutre and long term

We need both of them, its way too early in the season for them to take this much time off.. Especially Val, time to pull up his skirt and man up, wear a mask if need be, we need this game.

THIS was a classic:

They should have brought Mo Pete back on a throwback night against the Wiz.

Love watching this clip, never gets old.

This! And please don't forget that JV damaged same hand he broke year ago. So, if even X-rays are negative I'm with medicall staff saying that it is better to rest 2-3 more days than to take a risk of sitting 4-6 weeks long or so. We'll need JC in playoffs for sure with no regard to anyone calling him soft or not.
