That's what I'm talking about! And I agree it would be cool though extremely unlikely...if he got playing time vs a tanking team like the sebenty sixers.

I hope Casey dresses Bruno & Bebe tomorrow and challenges his rotation guys to stomp Philly early to get the kids some playing time.

I think that would be good motivation in a game like this one.

too early, no point of having him playing 1 minute (ala Fields)to take one shot and possibly miss it...dont think it would do him any good...

now, if we can be up 20 with 5 minutes to go then you give him those 5 minutes...

Ey I think he was @ the Hershey game yesterday watching Mississauga Power's home opener against the London Lightning wearing a blue cap.

Twitter @NorthPoleHoops has a pic of him kinda blurry but I think its him.

5 mins is 1/3 of a quarter, and he may foul out before the game, so I think 3 mins is max for him in garage time. Giving him the feel of the game would be good, but neither want him to be bad at himself, as we need to keep his confidence.

I think the coaches see what they need to see from Bruno in practice.

If he was ready, they would play him.

they still don't play Jonas. Casey discriminates by age and not by basketball ability. See: Chuck Hayes

We were told fairly early on he just would not play during the season. I am taking that literally, garbage time or not. Keeping my expectations low.

Yeah I agree, essentially we are red shirting the kid. Which makes sense just turned 19. If we hold him out a year and play him in the d-league he would still be a rookie next season. That would give him a shot at being in the race for ROY and boost his confidence. For now let him learn develop and get stronger. We will see the youngin play during SL and be able to see the growth then.

Also wasn't there an ad for him attending that development program up north? I have faith in Masai, and our development staff to get him on the right track.

I'm pretty anxious to see Bruno play as well, but unless we're up big in the closing minutes he ain't playing. He is just not strong enough to fight through screens right now, so he can't be effective defensively. His shot is solid, but his handles are shaky. Give it time. Just like T Mac's first year, we need to have patience.

Jonas gets 23 mins/ game right now which is decent.

That's about the same as Ross and Patterson .. how much do you wanna play him?

This is just not true. Chuck has only played when our front court has been exposed by other teams and with Amir missing time. Jonas still struggles defensively and has had trouble picking up fouls. Some were horrible calls on him but with him in foul trouble at times, hurt in the one game, Chuck has played as a result.

Otherwise he's basically played spot minutes for specific matches.

Those numbers are drastically impacted by missing the entire second half of one game and also he's had some issues in foul trouble.

Yes, Casey does go to some other guys but there is no discrimination against Jonas and it's 6 games in to the season.
