Re: 49ers @ Saints
Giants matched the Seahawks scoring drive with a scoring drive of their own. Preston Parker ties it up.

Follow my Giants and win a SB after a city wins the World Series and be only the fourth city to do so.

Culliver was interviewed coming off the field and he didn't say anything stupid, offensive, childish, or unintelligbile. Progress!

Re: 49ers @ Saints
Borland - 17 tackles, 2 TFL, 1 fumble recovery. I don't think I've said yet just how much I like him.
And coming into the game he only had 2 missed tackles on the year. Depending on which site you use of course.

Should he start for Wilhoite when Willis or Bowman comes back, whichever is the earliest?

I'd keep borland over wilhoite.

If Borland is on the up and up with the mental side of things I would got with Borland over Wilhoite.

Re: 49ers @ Saints
I'd keep Borland in the starting lineup as long as Borland continues to show his high football IQ.
The defense hasn't been the Niners biggest problem - or even a sizable problem - over the past few weeks. Peyton took advantage of Borland, but Peyton takes advantage of 80% of NFL defenders.
The coach who should be going off like a madman is Tomsula kicking the collective ass of his O-linemen. Staley, A.Davis, and Iupati need to nut the hell up as we continue down the stretch of the 2014 season.

Tim Kawakami:
Jim Harbaugh was matter of fact after this enormous victory, but also went out of his way to call Greg Roman indispensible.
I'd love for all fans to get to go behind some kind of glass wall and be able to watch Roman throughout the week without anybody knowing and just get to watch him work. Not that many of us would come close to fully understanding what goes on but I'd love for some fans to get that chance at least.

I take that as an indication of support of Roman, or - at the very least - appreciation of his work ethic / drive.

A little iffy on that call, but maybe it makes up for some really bad ones vs the Niners. He did push off to some degree at least. Good to see the refs had the nuts to call it.

Re: 49ers @ Saints
Tim Kawakami:
Michael Crabtree wasn't as thrilled about his huge 4th-quarter catch--or his 3-catch day--as you might expect. Wasn't thrilled at all..
Crabtree: "I’m a third-down receiver. I mean, I’m like the third option. So I come in and do my job."
I noted his catch was 4th down. MC: "4th down, I guess when they need me. I guess that’s when I play. When you count stats, look that up."
I'll never claim to be a Crabtree expert like somebody that's around him almost every day but he's never seemed to me to be the type of player you want to tick off and then go and expect him to handle his business the way you'd like for him to do it day in and day out.

That offensive PI call was more obvious than Boldin's during the first quarter.

What's classic is the amount of Saint's fans whining about that call and whining about 9er fans in regard to that call.

really simple, if graham didnt extend his arm he would not have made that catch. refs HAD to call it.

I didn't watch it but saw the highlights. Looks like Brooks got his revenge on brees.
