Well obviously not now. The guy had a monster summer league and really came into his own, but is still not there yet in all facets of the game, which is why he's not playing more minutes. Pierce and I am sure others have commented on his development. I expected him to play the Temple role. Instead, I have picked up Temple in the interim, while Beal is out. I see upside when your competition is Otto Porter and you destroy it in summer league with HOF players commented on you.

summer league has never meant anything, vets will always get minutes over rooks.

It does for demonstrating player development. He was competing against second year Otto Porter in Beal's absence. Hardly a grizzled veteran.

10 team, H2H, points

Kaman is a FA. Should I drop Lin for him?

Solomon Hill looking like a decent pick up at SF if you're thin!

With Jabari Parker out one of Ersan Ilyasova or Kris Middleton will start seeing big minutes.

Deep leaguers looking for a waiver wire big man should pay attention to Jusuf Nurkic. He doesn't need 30 minutes a game to produce. Has been solid in his last two games getting 18 minutes per game, contributing rebounds, steals and blocks while getting close to 10 points. He's young and prone to fouling, but the fact that he's able to play 18 minutes is already an improvement for the Bosnian foul machine.

Very happy that I invested a draft pick in him in my dynasty league and I'm looking forward to seeing him grow into a beastly starting big man in a few years.

Who takes the vacant minutes in Detroit, left by Smith?

If SVG is all about the youth movement I can't see who is going to get burn in the wake of his departure. They're pretty light on prospects who aren't rotation guys already.

With the injury news to Big Al :/ , should I just pick up Zeller and try to bide my time? Al's been my 3rd or 4th best player this year and idk if I can avoid going into a slump without making a trade. Unless the consensus is that Cody can come in and give me roughly 75% of Al's production..? It's H2H points if that makes a difference.

Rudy Gobert or Jusuf Nurkic?

I rolled the dice on Nurkic over Gobert because he can provide more in other cats.

And I just picked up Gobert. I think both players will be fantasy assets. Gobert has propelled my team to 1st in league blocks.
