So given his performance so far this season, it's easy to see he's important to our success. Henderson's departure is purely writing on the wall at this point (or I hope so) so resigning him is important.

I would offer Gary 3/24 at the end of the year. Anybody else have comments, questions, concerns or other offers that you would give?
Mike Malone was never given a fair chance in Sacramento, and Ranadive will soon come to regret that, when he's on top of the WC inevitably contending somewhere

hell no. Way too unreliable. We can do way better than him. When his jumper isn't on, he is Ben Gordon bad and that's not something we can afford. 3/24 is about 3 times as much as I'd be willing to pay. 2 years 7 million is the absolute most I'd go.

8/24 is ridiculous. Love to keep him though. He's been pretty good for us this year.

hell no.

you could pretty much get at least 80% of what Gary Neal gives you by giving some random journeyman shooter a chance on a minimum contract or drafting a good shooter during summer.

Thread title may need revisiting. In the month of December (13 games), Neal is shooting 34.6% from the field and 26% from three. That is not going to get it done.

Let's be honest, we all knew this was coming. He had a good November, we all knew he couldn't keep it up for two months in a row.

Not sure why, he's shooting well below his carer averages right now.

Gary Neal shot selection has been as bad as his shooting percentages

His defense went from alright back to last season's putrid form too. Shot selection is as bad as ever and he's not even making those shots.

And the worst part is he, like so many other goons on the roster, does little to improve his teammates or elevate the level of the team. Outside of his hot streaks he has a negative effect, same with Marvin, same with Hendo and those 3 are logging huge minutes because Cliff is so desperate for offense.

Flat out sucks. Is it too much to ask for a good shooter that isn't a total liability in every other facet of the game?

He's Ben Gordon with a better contract and a overrated perception since he played for the holier than thou Spurs with Popovich during a playoff run and even that might be generous because I think Gordon is better, even right now.

He hasn't reached the dark depths of Charlotte Ben Gordon but there are night where he gets close. Can't believe we kept this bum over CDR.

He has the longest leash of any mediocre bench player in the NBA

Ben Gordon might be having a better season in Orlando right now. And I'd take Gordon during the 1st half of the Dunlap season before the humbling over this Neal guy we got now.

Neal and Maxiell both have long leashes because they played for championship caliber teams once upon a time so in Clifford's dumb mind they can do know wrong and as he say "play the right way". Lol

Even Popovich was wise enough to keep Neal on a short leash. Well, Popovich is just a wise/smart coach. I don't think I can say the same for Clifford

If I was GM, I would have cut both of them to force Clifford to play the younger guys.
