Today I learned about selfie sticks...the level of disconnect in this society never seizes to amaze me.

I have a friend who lives in NY and goes to Times Square for NYE every year to live text it for us. He hates it but still does it and I stay awake just for his texts. This was the first year the selfie sticks apparently made it there and man he was in full flow.

i actually did the whole first communion/catholic school thing till like 7th grade since my mom is italian and my grandma made her/me do it.

He's just trying to get the manager fired, the rest is just bull crap. Chelsea cannot afford to pay what Messi costs without undermining FFP. Only 3 clubs that can afford him and stay within FFP are Bayern, United and Madrid.

if they get rid of cech which was being rumored even before this messi deal and can find a way to get torres off their books (i assume by making some deal with atletico) then i dont see why they couldnt, both of their wages would add up to what messi is currently making.

Not sure if you are acting deliberately bent or you genuinely not understand the concept of FFP. What you are explaining is net spend, that does not completely explain FFP, the whole idea of financial fairplay is that the club should not be operating at a net loss of more than a certain amount of money over a calender year. United's revenue pretty much dwarfs any club other than Madrid & Barca, which is why they can afford to offer higher salaries and transfer fees while even managing a negative net transfer spending.

Chelsea for example do not even have half the stadium capacity of United so the match day revenue itself is significantly less, not to mention United's crazy sponsorship money for kit sponsors, practice kit sponsors, noodles, chips and so on and so forth.
