Great deal, would've been perfect if Jordan Adams was included with Prince instead of the 1st but def can't complain!

I guess you can look at this way the Wolves will probably be better than all 8 teams missing the playoffs in the East.

Good luck to Jeff. Like Courtney Lee, he should do well there. With that being said, good return for us as well. We're like a garage sale for all Western Conference contenders.

Was hoping for Jordan Adams, have to wait to see the details of the first rounder before I decide if I like this trade or not.

Like I said in the other thread. A first for green is a miracle and I'm happy with this.

As expected. Was hoping we'd get Jordan Adams too, but hey; we got a first, so I'm not complaining.

As others have said, Green is going to fit very well in Memphis. He'll be a fourth option, and like most of us have said over the past couple of years, that it is forte. Best of luck, Jeff!

Man, 2 guys in one night. Danny Trader is back. I can picture Danny with no shirt on and a beverage in his hand watching footage of 2008 team on a TV and calling GM's. 'Yo, Bass? 2nd rounder and he's yours! Need a backup PG? I've got Nelson. Hello...'

I mentioned this the other night....

I think Green was told not to hurt himself by management back when Rondo was traded away....that would explain Jeff's apparent "I give a crap" attitude....As you can see Jeff landed in a real good place....another contender...same as Rondo landed with one in Dallas...

Things aren't always as they seem.....

Assuming the deal goes through, this would be yet another classy move by Ainge, sending guys to winning situations.

Waiting for final conformation

Pick imo will be lottery protected in 2019
1-10 in 2020

I'm not sure he was told that... but he knew it. I don't think he has been purposely tanking it the last few weeks... I think he is just mentally week and since he knew his days were numbered, he couldn't deal.

I think we sometimes forget that there is more at stake here for these guys then just playing for a different team. They have to MOVE. To a whole new city, often with a family, they have ALL new co-workers, new bosses... etc etc etc... it's a DRAMATIC life changing thing... some guys don't have the mental fortitude to deal once the writing is on the wall...

Ainge lives in the real world not the fantasy world that's for your trade proposals. No offense.
