Sign Wes Matthews, re-sign Wright and Singler, let Bass, Evans and Green walk

Bledsoe/Ennis
Matthews/Goodwin/Bullock
Tucker/Singler/Warren
Favors/Wright
Len/Zeller

Slowly phase out Tucker for Warren, continue to develop Bullock and Singler's 3 point shooting, develop Len and Favors next to each other.

Unless the Suns have some blockbuster trade brewing in which Dragic is a key piece, the Suns will pay whatever needed to re-sign him this offseason. If Dragic was not part of the Suns' future plans, they would have traded him in the offseason when his value was at its peak. For a rebuilding team, capitalising on the peak trade value of players that are not in your future plans should be a no-brainer.
I'm a huge supporter of McD, but if Dragic walks this offseason for nada it would really put a stain on his resume as a Suns GM.

Those are very strong words for a coach to say publicly about players, especially when everyone knows who he is talking about. I agree 100% with what he is saying too.

Wow

Way to throw your players under the bus. Hornacek needs to keep his yap shut. This should be a family discussion no a public discussion.

This team has not been fun to watch al year and it appears it is about to get worse. Horancek is about to lose this locker room if he hasn't already.

SHAZAM!

Suns traded Mikal Bridges, Cam Johnson, Jae Crowder and 4 1st round picks and a swap so some Vegas Bookies would like us.

I'd do it, just to get Ibaka.

http://espn.go.com/nba/tradeMachine?tradeId=otrvjaq

PHX gets: Ibaka/PJ3/Lamb/Perkins
OKC gets: Dragic/Thomas/MorrisX2/Plumlee

Give OKC a ton of depth. Also makes Jackson expendable in another trade.

Westbrook/Thomas/Ish
Dragic/Waiters/Morrow
Durant/Morris/Roberson
Morris/Collison/McGary
Adams/Plumlee

Suns get one of the best defensive PF's in the game and a few young prospects that need time to develop. Perkins is a large expiring that can be flipped to another team at the deadline for assets.

Bledsoe/Ennis
Goodwin/Lamb
Tucker/Bullock/Warren
Ibaka/Wright/PJ3
Len/Perkins

The behavior from the Morris twins has been bizarre.

-Getting a ton of technicals
-Blowing up at the coach
-Destroying Kevin Love in one game and almost making a point of it.
-Not talking to media
-Marcus has been inconsistent. Keef has been pretty reliable. At least when they are both playing and not benched.

Hornacek is starting to fall out of my liking. What kind of dumbass statement is that? Would it be so hard to have your players back for once?

It's really a shame the ugly side of the NBA and the biggest threat to professional sports - EGOS - has gotten a hold of the Suns this year.

I guess last year was special because a bunch of rejects and losers somehow managed to win 50 games and almost make the playoffs.

Then everyone comes into his season with a new contract (Bledsoe/Morris/Morris/IT/Tucker) or new contracts on their mind (Green/Dragic) and **** starts to hit the fan.

I really don't want to trade anyone except for IT and Plumlee. I think Keef, Marcus, Green, and Dragic are all excellent players when their heads are in the game.

Suns- Monroe, jerebko
Pistons- Morris, Morris, plumlee

Bledsoe/ it
Dragic/green
Tucker/ warren
Monroe/ jerebko(stretch 4)
Len/ wright

Sign Dragic and Monroe and lets have a twins towers down low and a dynamic duo back court. Talk about being long and fast

If Len develops an outside shot we could pair him next to DeAndre Jordan, and trade the twins for a wing. Probably would have to let Dragic walk though. Imagine having Bledsoe driving all day with Len and DJ under the basket. Surround those guys with 3 & D guys and a solid bench and you've got a playoff team.

If we could get a commitment from Monroe to sign with us long term I'd be willing to swing something along the lines of -
PHX- Monroe, KCP, Joel Anthony
Det- the T brothers and Green

We improve rebounding and get another wing prospect who has potential on the defensive side of the court. Plus who doesn't want Anthony for the rest of the year!

But he may be able to be pried away because he isnt ready to contribute now, whilst they have a championship window.

I'd trade them Tucker or Green for McDermott, and hone McDermott to be a sharp shooter Korver v2.0. Korver is probably 2nd or 3rd most important player on the hawks, teams just panic to look for him... and when they dont... he punishes them... great to watch.
Catch and shoot too, so will suit the PGs on the Suns... now Len has become a decent defender/paint protector defense isnt as bad since Len can protect the paint from penetrators who get by McDermott/weak defender... besides McDermott can atleast be as good as Green if not better defensively... but twice the I.Q...

I know Jordan is a RFA, but i dont see the Clippers letting him go. He is the perfect fit for their system and a very big part of what they do.

Here's the problem. Monroe is coming off his qualifying offer which means that:
a.) he will be a UFA
b.) we dont own his bird rights. We MUST be under the cap to resign him. Currently we are not. We either 1.) must trade Thomas and Tucker for picks/expirings or 2.) renounce Dragic so his cap hold frees up space. That means Dragic wont be resigned.

So you have to ask yourself. Is Monroe/MCP worth Markeiff/Marcus/Green/Thomas/Tucker or Markeiff/Marcus/Green/Dragic?

They resigned them a year early.

It's got to be, Plumlee/Dragic/Green/Thomas.

Re-signing them improved their trade value. They'd be RFA's and Kieff would likely get more than 8m per.

Yeah, but now both of them are Poison Pill, so matching salaries becomes much more difficult.

If they don't re-sign him it won't be for money reasons that's for sure. And even with rumors of problems there I can't believe they'd let him walk.

Assuming we could get good value for IT and Tucker yes. A core of Bledsoe, Dragic, Monroe, and Len is a good starting point. If we could flip IT and Tucker for another player on their rookie deal we'd be in a good position.
