Last summer, McMillan interviewed for the Charlotte Bobcats' job that eventually went to Mike Dunlap, who has since been fired. McMillan interviewed with the Orlando Magic and was reportedly a "top choice" but Jacque Vaughn took over for the fired Stan Van Gundy instead.

Steve Kyler: Had three different people suggest only way Skiles takes Magic job is if he has control over personnel. Doesn't want to get hosed.

Might be down to Malone and McMillan at this rate.Steve Kyler: Had three different people suggest only way Skiles takes Magic job is if he has control over personnel. Doesn't want to get hosed.

Skiles may never get hired again if he wants personnel control.
