We need good players. Gibson is a good player.

Henson and Dudley are good players, but get abused down low

What is your argument here? Our power forwards (if you can even call them that) get abused down low so we shouldn't be looking to add one the best defensive bigs in the league?

I'm sorry, I must have missed something, is Taj an actual rumor? Because if we get Taj, I think we can win a 1st round.
Dude would get so many minutes on this team, you know he wants those minutes...

No argument , i'm only stating instead of adding more of the same thin guys, we need to add a Pekovic type of player to play downlow. Isn't obvious that is what this team is lacking to be considered legit

Henson and Gibson aren't comparable players. Gibson isn't allergic to body contact.

Adding a horrible defensive player who clogs up the paint and can't pass the ball is about the last thing I think this team needs to stay competitive. Our teams whole identity is ball movement and defense, someone like Kanter or Pekovic is exactly the opposite of that.

Apparently Miami is insisting that teams take on Granger if they want Norris Cole.

Amico says that Bucks have 'strong' interest in Taj. Some hate Amico and his opinions though.

Imagine if we could somehow pull this off as a future starting lineup (pipedream):

PG: Lawson
SG: Middleton
SF: Giannis/Jabari
PF: Jabari/Giannis
C: Taj Gibson

Why would anyone want Norris Cole by himself much less take on another player to get him?

Maybe a pick comes with it? At least that is what I am hoping if there is any truth to this rumour.

Although, what picks does Miami even have at this stage. Isn't their first going to Philly (via CLE then MIN)?

Do the people who like Taj Gibson realize he turns 30 in June? How could such an old player ever fit in with our core?

Yep, saw Detroit offered Jerebko for Cole and Miami insisted they take Granger and Detroit clearly said get real. Granger is dead weight and probably not even worth the vet minimum at this point. I wouldn't hate Deng coming with Cole tho..

To me it seems that the big market teams have a skewed view on their players value.... This seems to be the case to me.

Are we comparing him to David West here? The guy who has 5 years and a million more NBA miles under his belt?

My gut says Taj is healthy another 5 years.

Fair enough, I'll admit defeat on that one. Wouldn't have imagined this team would be where it is now.
