I'm just screwing around on NBA.com and trying to find some diamonds in the rough, so I was looking at guys that are very good in catch-and-shoot situations... Meyers Leonard is among the league leaders in eFG% on catch-and-shoot when you take out the guys that attempt less than 2 per game. Seems so bizarre. I didn't realize he's attempting almost 2 3 pointers per game and is shooting 45% from 3 this year.

I'd do Zaza and Ers plus the Clippers 2017 1st for Pek and Shabazz. Not sure if Minny would take that as they might still view Bazz as exceedingly valuable compared to that pick

Another one that might make more sense for both teams is Ersan + JOB + 2nd for Pek.

Wonder if we could work out a deal where we send Henson to the Bulls for Gibson (clearing 6mil in room for Butler) and then flip Gibson to OKC for Perk+McGary (which also brings OKC under the tax line)

I'm just fearful that we end up matched against Chicago or Washington in the 1st rd and our bigs get shoved out of the building. Pekovic can rebound and is a massive body. I'm sick of guys like Gasol or Boozer going for 30/20 seemingly every night against us

Pek would be an odd fit to me.

I think Pek is a pretty solid fit honestly. Would depend on what we give up for him though.

Zaza is a better defender+rebounder+passer than Pek

I'm sure Min would want younger guys, so Ersan and OJ may be a tough sell. They would most likely want a 1st though.

No doubt. But Lawson is owed $11 and $12 million the next two-years. Dragic might cost 5/$80 to 5/$100.

Very true, and with reports that Phoenix's asking price is damn near outrageous for Dragic im not sure that would be smart for Milwaukee long term. I love Dragic but Id be skeptical at best giving him that type of coin. He'd better be a perennial all star during his tenure here to even come close to being worth that money. Definitely possible but like I said Id be skeptical.

If Woj is right that the Suns need a player with all star potential and a pick to consider a deal, maybe a Bucks offer would start at Knight and the LAC pick.

Dragic getting paid a huge deal would then come in the context of money we're saving from not paying Knight.

So what would we think of Dragic / Plumlee for Knight / Ersan / LAC pick let's say?

Bet we'd go on a serious tear (including playoffs) to close the season. The risk would be losing Dragic, which would be real rough any way you slice it....but at least in this scenario we'd drop Ersan's salary to be better positioned to sign one of the centers on the open market.

I just can't see the Suns wanting to have Bledsoe, Thomas, and Knight on the same team.

Where I don't think Pekovic is a bad player, I don't see the fit at all. He's a HEAVY pick and roll or post player with little passing or defense and that is exactly the opposite of what is winnings us games.

I do that deal, although I'm still uneasy about paying Dragic more than 14 per year. The money freed up with Ersan goes toward Dragic/Middleton.
