Quite the oversimplification.

Why? It is a clear upgrade with upside to be even better. We don't want some plodder.

this isn't as much anti noel talk as it is pro Henson. I think hes having a hell of a year. im not convinced selling him and the rest of the ranch for noel is a great move. I haven't watched enough sixers/noel to form an honest opinion.... but after sanders the last thing I want is another one way defensive player whose a useless clutz on the offensive side. im not desperate enough with the improvement ive seen from Henson defensively to give up on him just yet.

Twitter saying that Detroit and Brooklyn are talking a deal around Brandon Jennings and Joe Johnson. With Detroit extending Johnson as well

I am, Henson isn't that good offensively(he has his lefty hook and that's it) and can't do much defensively other get block a few shots here and there, he isn't the same rebounder this year as he was in years past. I don't see him significantly improving while Noel can and probably will, Noel can be an elite defensive big whereas Henson is elite at nothing.

Just ask yourself, having seen Henson this year, could a Jabari/Giannis/Henson frontcourt win a title? I feel like we need to upgrade that position to someone who is similar to Henson but better on the boards.

I think I would make that deal for Noel as well - as long as he passes an in-depth physical.

A line up of White PG from Duke - Khash Middleton - Giannis - Parker - Noel would be super sweet.

I'm really not that concerned about Henson at center from a rebounding perspective. He's going to be playing next to two excellent rebounding forwards in Parker and Giannis. If you think Knight is going to be around you could count him among the best rebounders for his position too.

I don't know why Detroit is interested in Joe Johnson if they also want to offer Draymond a contract around the max.

If we give up Middleton for a center who can't pass and will only take shots away from Giannis I'm gonna be pissed.

henson needs to rebound better. i get that. he needs to grab 2 more per 36 honestly and that not nuts in the scheme of things considering what hes put up before. but Henson doesn't hurt a team offensively. noel does. I realize noel is only 20 but theres a strong chance hes another sanders/biyombo style center and I don't have any interest in that. I want a guy who has some 2 way in him.... and that's especially in this new system were running. theres a reason zaza and henson looked better than sanders this year.

During the draft, how about Henson+our 15 1st + other(clips 1st, 2nds, etc) for Myles Turner?

From Woj piece just posted:

Portland has shown a stronger desire to make a deal with Denver for Wilson Chandler than Arron Afflalo, partly because Chandler is under contract next season. The Blazers have made Will Barton and Thomas Robinson, as well as a future first-rounder, available in talks for wing players.

Wonder if Portland would be interested in Mayo for Robinson.... Not saying straight up, maybe some picks involved as well

D-Mo and a first for Dragic would be great for both teams.

Robinson? Give me Barton or McCollum and future first if they're foolish enough.

Are we sure we want Dragic... would he even resign? Not sure I wanna max him.

Return to Milwaukee Bucks
